Wonderful deck with beautiful views of Loveless lake. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning from the deck or "treehouse". Just 3 miles from Balsam Lake including golf courses and restaurants on the water.

Nicely situated on the lake with a very nice dock. Outdoor deck areas needed a thorough cleaning/sweeping before being considered usable. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was noticeably lacking. Very nice kitchen area with most utensils provided (no toaster!). Living area seats 4 on one cozy couch. Only one Kayak with no paddles or life jacket was provided. Temper your expectation and you will be fine.

Misleading listing. We weren't told the dishwasher was broken and there would be no trash pickup until we arrived. No resources on where to bring trash and I had driven 16 hours from Colorado with a dog, so bringing trash home with me was not an option. The cabin was filthy. Clearly it hadn't been properly cleaned prior to our arrival. There was pet hair, dirt, and dead bugs. Some did not feel comfortable sleeping under the covers. The couch had visible stains on it, we would put down towels if we wanted to sit on the couch. I have pictures if interested. The host did not include check in instructions on the listing so I had to reach out and wait in the rain to gain access to the "cabin" upon arrival. He did communicate promptly. The deck and lake view were nice, but the patio furniture was rotting, breaking, and very dirty so hard to enjoy. We were so excited for this relaxing stay and we truly could not relax due to the conditions. I ended up wiping down the floors, bathroom, and kitchen, cleaning for over an hour during my "vacation" just so it would feel a little cleaner. It was extremely disappointing and I feel I overpaid for my stay.

We enjoyed our stay, very much. There were a couple quirks with the place but nothing bad. The host was very friendly and quick to take action. The septic alarm came on and he had a septic company there immediately. Awesome place, awesome host. I would definitely go back. It was cool that we could bring the dogs but it was awesome that i could catch bass off the dock.

Relaxing getaway

This cabin was wonderful! My boyfriend and I stayed there with our dog Betty. We really appreciated how welcoming the cabin was for dogs. Betty found the toy bucket and was so happy! The beds were super comfy. One of the best things about this cabin is the views of the lake and trees from every room. It was a great place to relax by the lake for a few days.

Family reunion

Beautiful and secluded spot. Property itself could use some upkeep. We were there for a family reunion at another cabin on loveless lake so we only spent time sleeping and breakfast at the property. The kitchen was well equipped, but did not do much cooking.

Great location

This was just what we needed, we all enjoyed the use of the paddle board and kayaks, caught lots of fish, had campfires, and spent lots of time on the deck and treehouse. We thought we might have to spend a day in Minneapolis but there was plenty to do at the cabin and in St. Croix Falls.

Owner was very responsive to questions/issues. Property has a lot of potential for future renters. Appliance issues need to be addressed and walkway down to the water is also something that needs some attention, but overall nice place to spend some time.

Great lake location

Overall the property was great with lake and kayak, paddleboard all made available which was fantastic. Owner was very responsive to questions as we had 3 young children with us and some questions. It was maybe not 'the best' place for young children given the water, steps etc but as long as you monitor closely we had a great time. Only issues we noticed was some dog hair - not a bother to me but when you have little kids touching everything it is not ideal. Also we were surprised that we were asked to take our garbage with us. The owner was ok with us leaving after we requested given our long drive back home but it was a surprise when we arrived to read that. Lack of wifi and full AC was concerning at first but our hotspot worked ok and it stayed relatively cool with lots of fans available and a nice AC unit in the main bedroom. We'll probably come back when the kids are older so we can get the full lake experience and spend more time on the kayaks and hammock which were fantastic. Great location and nice small towns all within a short drive. Keurig and kitchen utensils were plentiful and appreciated as well.

Just what we were looking for!

Our stay was wonderful! I stayed with a group of adults and we loved it there! Brandon was such a good host, always responded promptly, gave good recommendations, and did his best to accommodate us! The property is perfect for spending time just hanging out together, kayaking on the lake, bonfires, whatever you want really! It’s very close to some good golf courses that Brandon recommend and just about 5 mins from a lot small town bars and restaurants! If your looking for a place to just chill and have fun, this is definitely it! Very pleased with our stay and would love to come back!!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My family and I stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend and it was the perfect getaway with beautiful lake front views. The house is close to everything (hiking, wineries, breweries, boat tours, etc.) and had everything we needed. The place is dog friendly which was a huge plus. I would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to be back again!
