“The hotel is very dated and not as well maintained as the photos look. Furniture along the halls on the 3rd floor that were oddly placed. We paid £80 in addition to the stay, for the spa (price for a couple) and it was not worth it, it felt overbooked so had to wait to move between the facilities, floor tiles moved around the jacuzzi, food in the spa wasn’t great. “I booked a single room with twin bed but upgraded to a double bed and got a better room. The room itself was quite dark, except for first thing in the morning when the sun lit up the room and the bathroom, which was nice. The bedroom had only one central light (quite dark) and one bedside light, with no lighting over by the desk where the kettle/tea/coffee were, which was a little awkward.
