“So charming! The Inn itself is nicely furnished in a cozy manner, curated with interesting collections of things and vintage or antique objects throughout. Many charming touches, like the popcorn station with flavored oils and Parmesan cheese, were a delightful surprise. The towel warmer in the bathroom was unexpected and wonderful! “The host/owner Michael is a wonderful host. Other reviewers have complimented the breakfast he prepares...they did not exaggerate. The breakfasts are healthy, delicious, innovative, fresh...outstanding. Our room, #8, is large, clean, has its own private entrance, and a great new shower. This B&B is located in downtown Madison in a walkable area. The house is a large, charming building constructed in 1833. Excellent accomodations. ”

“We left before breakfast so didn’t try it. Staff was polite. Parking was plentiful. Only problem was no hot water in our room. Didn’t know until we got up the next morning for showers. I told the desk clerk on the way out. A shower would have been great but had to go without. Clerk said that room had just had a plumber out to fix that. May I suggest that someone check to see if what needed to be fixed is actually fixed. ”
