Villa Meliti è idealmente situata nella zona di Kalamaki, a circa 5 chilometri (3 miglia) a ovest di Chania, a pochi minuti dal cuore della città o dalle spiagge sabbiose della costa occidentale di Creta. Nella zona di Kalamaki troverai bar, ristoranti, farmacia, negozi di souvenir e negozi di alimentari. La fermata dell'autobus per il trasporto pubblico è raggiungibile in 2 minuti a piedi dalla Villa con destinazione in centro, dove è possibile salire su un autobus per esplorare l'intera isola.

Villa Meliti è una moderna villa di nuova costruzione di 190 m2 con uno spazio esterno di 600 m2 con barbecue sul prato e piscina di 50 m2. La Villa fa parte di un terreno verde privato di 4000 m2 pieno di alberi che variano da ulivi, aranci e limoni che sei libero e invitato a esplorare in qualsiasi momento. Potresti anche avere la possibilità di assaggiare alcuni frutti di stagione a seconda del periodo dell'anno.

Il soggiorno si trova al piano terra, con TV satellitare LCD da 42 '', home cinema e lettore musicale con dock per pod. La cucina, completamente attrezzata con utensili da cucina, lavastoviglie, forno, microonde, macchina per il caffè Nespresso e cucina con focolare in ceramica. Infine, una delle quattro camere da letto si trova al piano terra della villa.

Tutte le camere sono dotate di TV a schermo piatto LCD 26 '', unità di aria condizionata con climatizzatore autonomo e materassi e biancheria da letto confortevoli, ampio armadio, lenzuola di pregio, asciugamani, teli mare e cassetta di sicurezza.

La villa ha una cucina completamente attrezzata, un soggiorno con TV, home cinema, dispositivo di streaming Roku, Netflix e lettore musicale. Ha uno spazio esterno privato di 600 metri quadrati con una piscina di 50 metri quadrati, in parte una piscina per bambini.

La spiaggia sabbiosa di Kalamaki si trova a 300 metri ed è ben organizzata con ombrelloni e lettini. Entro quei 300 metri verso la spiaggia ci sono due negozi di alimentari.

La Villa è in zona tranquilla e vicina ai servizi. L’immobile è ben arredato e molto pulito. I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili.

Villa Meliti is a splendid residence; it is furnished in a very stylish and modern way. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. 8 people can easily and conveniently be accommodated there as it has 4 double bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Locationwise, it is very close to the Kalamaki beach which is nice, although possibly not the nicest in Crete. But other nice beaches can be reached within 1-1.5 hour driving. I recommend this place.

The villa had everything you would need, lots of kitchen crockery, utensils etc and outside for the BBQ area. beach towels, wonderful soft towels for showering etc. The showers were always full power and hot. Andrei the owner took us to the big supermarket to collect our big shop for our weeks stay, smaller supermarkets very close to the villa also. The beach was very good and really good food, beach parasols etc at the Golden Bay hotel/cafe restaurant on the beach. couldn't really fault the villa.

Family holiday with adult children. Everyone had a great time. Lovely property, very clean, modern and well looked after. Great pool and also fun to play table tennis and mini golf, using materials provided to create different holes. Short walk to the beach and Chania is also walkable along the coast in 1hr if you like (about 3 miles), can get number 15 bus back. Chania is a lovely harbour town and we found many good restaurants with advice from Andrie. Andrie and George were excellent hosts and looked after us very well. Even when the entire Chania area was covered in Saharan sand after a freak storm they managed to get the pool and garden clean v quickly when many properties around were struggling.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Meliti.The house was great (just like the pictures); it really felt like a home away from home.Floorplan was well thought out with exits to the patio and pool area from the kitchen and living room, all bedrooms had exits to garden or balcony and we all appreciated the en suite bathrooms.We spent a lot of time at the patio/pool area, which was just as thought out and carefully taken care of as the house.Our hostess was amazing; warm, caring, responsive and service minded.I definitely recommend Villa Meliti and would love to stay there again some day.

Villa Meliti was the perfect home away from home for our two families. The hosts Andrie and George were incredibly kind and thoughtful and had provided Easter Eggs for the children and a range of local delicacies. They were always available and gave us great tips to make the most of our stay.It was such a treat that each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom.The villa is spotless with every modern convenience you could want and is in a fabulous location, walking distance to shops and the beach.Highly recommend Villa Meliti!

This was a lovely property which was located ideally for us as a larger group with a car. It was clean and comfortable and if there was anything we felt was missing, Andrie, the host, immediately went out of her way to provide it. On one of the days my husband became unwell with a stomach bug and Andrie was amazing in terms of going to the pharmacy for us to obtain medications and electrolytes. She was incredibly generous and gracious. She also booked restaurants for us when we needed, and helped me book a taxi one day when my husband wasn’t able to drive due to his illness. She never made me feel as though I was asking for too much. We mainly dined in downtown Chania (about a twenty min drive away), but the local restaurants we did try (walking distance from the villa) were excellent. Grocery store five min drive away and smaller local stores within walking distance. We did feel a bit inconvenienced by the fact that the wifi didn’t work upstairs, and if that had been articulated in the property description, it would have been helpful to know in advance. The pool isn’t heated but our kids happily jumped in nonetheless even though it was a tad chilly in October. Overall we had a lovely stay and I can’t say enough good things about Andrie’s hospitality.

Villa Meliti is phenomenal! It is a beautiful property with a pool, sea views, and is easily walkable to restaurants, shops, and the lively Kalamaki beach! We were welcomed by the property owners upon arrival with fruit, wine, and the regional specialty drink Raki. The hosts/owners were very responsive and helpful starting prior to and extending through our stay. Whether it was arranging for transfer and taxi services, or offering recommendations for destinations and dining options, they were available and rapidly responsive. It would not be possible to recommend this home, and its owners, any more than I am! They are both amazing! If you plan to visit Crete you have to consider Villa Meliti!

We had the pleasure of staying 10 nights in this great location in August/ September 2023. From the initial booking confirmation to our final minutes in the villa our hosts were fantastic. Arranging airport collection, basic foods, fruit and wine on arrival, booking restaurants, taxi's, supermarket runs - simply 1st class. Thank you!! The villa also met our every need. Clean, great pool, bbq, outside dining, super layout, table tennis and a putting green to keep us occupied. Location was also excellent for 500m stroll to the beach, supermarkets and some lovely restaurants by the sea. 15 minutes from Chania by taxi - PERFECT in so many ways. We had a great week in this villa which had lots of room and everything we could possibly need for a comfortable holiday. The hosts were both very friendly and helpful and we appreciated the shopping left for us after our late evening arrival - especially the huge plate of fruit which we enjoyed very much. The pool was excellent and very clean and good for small children. The location was perfect - just a short walk to shops and restaurants and the sea front. Would definitely recommend!

We have had the most amazing holiday. All of the previous reviews are true. The hosts are lovely and can’t do enough for you. Andrei arranged our transfers from the airport. When we arrived there was additional shopping as well as the welcome pack which was on the house. We received fresh eggs and home cooked Greek food during our stay! Any queries were answered immediately, e.g bus timetables, recommendations of things to do. We were allowed to stay in the villa until our transfer pick up late in the evening. The list goes on! The villa itself had everything we needed. It is modern, clean and spacious. The pool is amazing and there were lots of games, inflatables (and pump) to use. We were a family of 4 and family of 5, so 9 of us altogether. We didn’t hire a car. There are restaurants in walking distance and we got the bus along to Agia marina beach and also into Chania which is well worth a visit! We went to a water park which had its own bus that picked us up from kalamaki. We would love to return here and would highly recommend to others!!

5 star experience in this great house. The owners Are the most service minded people I ever experienced, helping with everything you Ask for. The house itself has a great outdoor area for kids and adults with a Big swimming Pool and bbq area. The inside has great aircondition in every room and the house works great for both children and adults. We Are deligted that we chose this house and can strongly reccomend this to everybody.

We are a group of 7 adults and had a brilliant stay , this villa is perfect for families with Children or friends , you can;t really go wrong - the location is excellent - 5 minute walk to 3 or 4 restaurants , 2 small supermarkets , the beach and only 15 minute walk to a few more restaurants - you can walk to the 2 big supermarkets , took about 30 minutes for lighter supplies but George + Andrie ( Hosts ) will take you and pick you up for a big shop , some of our group even walked to Chania , took about an hour but Taxis are easy to flag down but Andrie would organise all taxis if we asked - the villa is superb with a great Pool , Barbecue area , table tennis and putting area for mini golf !! - Cleaners came a couple of times a week and did a great job - Andrie organised Taxis to and from the Airport at a very reasonable price - you do not need to hire a car for this villa unless you want lots of days out exploring - The hosts were Brilliant , always available if we needed Taxis or a shopping run to the supermarket , they brought us some lovely home cooked food , overall Andrie and George are just lovely people who took care of us from start to finish and couldn't do any more for you - I would highly recommend this Villa

What do you get when you combine a beautifully designed property, with two gregarious owners who work in hospitality, on an island known for warmth and kindness? A magical experience! We spent a month at Villa Meliti with six people (3 adults, 3 kids) and were so glad we found Villa Meliti! The house is spectacular (more on that later) only to be outdone by the warmth and generosity of Andrie and George. Staying in their villa is like having a best friend who happens to work in hospitality and own an island villa. Andrie greeted us with Greek food and snacks after our long travel day. She also helped us find everything from rental cars to horseback riding to private Greek cooking lessons from a chef she knows (the food is so good). Every detail was thought through with service that rivals any 5-star resort. George treated us to an incredible Greek culinary experience at a local restaurant and introduced us to Cretan specialties - it may have been the best meal I've ever had and it was such an unexpected treat. Andrie and George were instantly available on Whatsapp and stopped by to make sure everything was great and share funny stories. George designed the house and it is very thoughtfully designed for groups/families and impeccably clean. The four bedrooms are spacious, and have en-suite bathrooms, great air conditioning, and black-out shades. The space was plenty big for our family of six and could easily accommodate a couple of groups or a large family. The living space blends beautifully into the kitchen and an outdoor patio making for great indoor/outdoor living. The kitchen is fully stocked and was the location for our 1x/week Greek cooking lesson with a Master Chef (that Andrie arranged for us). The location is great - walking distance to the beach and a 5 min drive to the supermarket and Agii Apostoli beach which has chairs and umbrellas for rent and beachfront cafe/bars. There are two tasty and very affordable local restaurants within walking distance of the house. It's a 15 min drive to Old Town Chania which is lovely. Old Town is dense and touristy so Villa Meliti provides a refuge in the form of a large property, house, and private pool while also having easy access to Old Town. We rented a car (they are inexpensive) and were glad that we did. The Greeks are known for hospitality and nobody does it better than Andrie and George. They are simply the best hosts we've ever had and now we call them friends.

Das Haus und der Pool sind wirklich top! Ich bzw. wir hatten noch nie eine bessere Unterkunft angemietet! Die Vermieterin war 24/7 für uns erreichbar und super sympathisch. Klare Empfehlung :) Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder in die Villa Meliti auf Kreta! PS: Eines der Highlights war das Diner mit dem Privatkoch!

Immaculate property, very friendly and helpful owner. All the equipment provided was in good order and everything needed was there including coffee maker, toasted sandwich maker and tv in every bedroom. Lovely beaches within walking distance and variety of reasonably priced restaurants. Property was very secure and private with its own off road parking. In fact a pproblem free lovely holiday.

The house and pool were perfectly clean and comfortable! We were an easy walk from wonderful beaches and delicious restaurants. I definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with everything you need and more! The hosts were amazing, very responsive and so kind. Thank you again!

This house was truly amazing and had everything we could ask for in a house for our vacation. We had 8 people (4 adults and 4 kids ages 12-15). There was space and a bathroom for everyone. The kitchen was fully stocked with tools and appliances. The outdoor space was perfect (pool, outdoor table and cooking area, lounge chairs, putting green, and clothes line). We felt very safe with a gated entrance and pedestrian gate as well. The house provides easy access to Chania and the west coast beaches of Crete. Additionally, Andrie is amazing as a host! I can't say enough good things. She was so helpful with restaurants, taxis, excursions, groceries... she answered all our questions and never made me feel like I was bothering her! She really made our vacation especially enjoyable and stress free. I would definitely stay here again - and for longer next time!

Die Villa Meliti können wir zu 100% weiter empfehlen. Wir hatten eine großartige Woche in der es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Der Check In lief absolut problemlos und unkompliziert. Die Sauberkeit war top. Andrie ist eine tolle, sehr sympathische Vermieterin, die sich sofort gekümmert hat wenn etwas war. Auf Nachfrage hat sie uns bereits im Vorhinein mit Tipps für Restaurants und Umgebung versorgt. Sie hat uns mehrmals angeboten uns etwas einzukaufen oder sogar mit frischen Eiern, Raki und Olivenöl versorgt. Das Chefkoch Dinner war ein absolutes Highlight und ist definitiv ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Der Ort an sich hat alles, was man braucht und ein Auto ist nicht zwingend notwendig. Kleine Supermärkte sind fußläufig gelegen und der Bus nach Chania hält wirklich quasi vor der Tür. Vielen Dank für alles- wir haben es sehr genossen. Liebe Grüße Janina

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful villa from 7th until 14th July 2022. About a 20 minute drive by cab from Chania Airport. On arrival at the villa. We were met by George who showed us all of the facilities. Every room was clean, cool and very comfortable. All you could need is here. Safes in the rooms, all kitchen equipment, towels, shower gels, extra cushions. The swimming pool was wonderful and no chlorine. Perfect. Andrie and George set up a WhatsApp group for us to keep in touch for anything we needed. George even drove us to the large supermarket to stock up on our provisions for the week. They helped to arrange cab bookings for us. So helpful. It is only a 3 minute walk downhill to the beach, the small supermarkets and the beachfront restaurants. Which were very good. A 12 euro cab ride will take you to the old town harbour, and a short walk downhill from where the cab drops you off to the sites around the harbour. But back to the villa. I can highly recommend a stay here. One of the most relaxing family holidays we have had. Thank you Andrie and George.

Easily the best experience my family has had on vrbo!! The place is gorgeous, clean, quiet and wonderful. The hosts were very helpful: knowledgeable regarding the area, great recommendations for food, assistance for my family as necessary but their generosity knew no bounds—they gave us fruit, olive oil and eggs from their own garden and chicken coop! They are wonderful people! Location is perfect and there’s lots for everyone to do on site or around the town. Each bedroom has a bathroom and the outside area is stellar. Really, just so people don’t think it was too perfect there was no spatula to flip my fresh eggs with. Hahaha! This place was awesome!
