“Gorgeous property. We stayed in a superior room which was very spacious, very clean, and with lovely decor. The pub below is great and has a pool table which is nice for the evenings. And great breakfast selection included too. Would thoroughly recommend!”

The shower took 25 minutes to drain and, whilst we understand the logistics of old manor houses, if the plumbing is not up to standard then this should be at least mentioned on booking. “I had a wonderful one night stay at the Coach Inn while passing through. The facilities at the inn are great and I would thoroughly recommend it. One comment for consideration the bedroom window was screwed shut in my room no 9, the room gets full sun making it hot with no air so it would be a major benefit to be able to open it for some fresh air, my suggestion would be to fit some stops instead of it being screwed shut so it could open say 8" or so. “A very nice hotel, grounds, and staff”

“We just returned from our stay at Moorlands over the May Bank Holiday weekend. We were two families with three children and had hired two apartments at the property. It was a lovely and comfortable place with all the home-like amenities you could need — every detail had clearly been carefully thought through. “Looked ok in reception but that’s as good as it got , very out dated and not a great deal worked in the room . Very nearly boiled the kettle for a coffee in the morning before looking in it . Never seen anything like that before . When reeling off the stuff wrong with the room the staff were not bothered at all . Was charged £130 for the night and wouldn’t have paid £30 if I had a choice .”
