“Dropped almost $2K on a 4 night stay after this Mama finally got her first vacation after having a baby. Big mistake. There were maybe 2 staff members who actually cared about our stay. So many other staff members were so rude. The view was beautiful but the room had major maintenance issues. Wish I could get my money back.”

“We booked a cozy (aka small) room for the night of June 5. For our needs it was just right. The check-in was perfect and I loved that part of my phone number was the room code. Very convenient. Ultimately I left behind an item. It was after 5pm that I realized what I had done. The front office was super helpful and even checked a place or two places while we were speaking. “La struttura è aperta da poche settimane quindi è tutto nuovo. Il personale si è sempre dimostrato cordiale e disponibile. La camera e ampia e confortevole e dispone di frigo, microonde, macchina per il caffè, asciugacapelli, ECC... Compresi nel prezzo della camera ci sono anche Wi-Fi, colazione a buffet e parcheggio.”

“Really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. The breakfast was very substantial and varied one of the best breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel great kitchen staff great night shift check-in clerk. Will definitely stay there again.”

“Location. Location. Location. been coming out to Durango, CO for over 10 years. Walking distance to downtown was ideal. A few blocks over from the main drag. It is an older best western. Rooms were a little dark, and dated. Hotel pool in middle of property. Hotel is next to the Durango train station. They did have complimentary drinks in the evenings.”

“The lady who worked hard everyday, Brandie, to keep everyone fed in the morning did an excellent job. The other staff were very responsive to our needs. The room had no bathroom amenities, lotion, etc.”

“The staff were pleasant and efficient. Very helpful. It's an old-school motor hotel. There is some traffic noise--it's on the main thoroughfare in town, after all--but it quiets down at night. That location also makes it easy to find and easy to locate downtown amenities. One noise was delightful, btw--the whistle and chugging of the steam train that runs through downtown, on its way to Silverton. Last, I was impressed that they have dual-flush toilets--very efficient. I recommend this motel.”

“Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly not far from downtown, but the beds were very hard and the pillow is very flat.”

“This is a clean hotel, looks new or newly renovated. It is located on the river and within walking distance of the train and downtown. Our room was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable but a little tall for me. They serve a nice breakfast daily. There is a pool, gym and ample parking. I would probably stay here again if in Durango. Only real complaint is it was expensive.”

“Room was clean, how ever the temperature of the room was controlled by the property which made it a little uncomfortable. Beds were a little on the used up side but other than that it was good for a one night stay with kids.”

“Brand spanking new property in a wonderful location for being downtown. The staff is just getting started and were very friendly and helpful, including the manager. Still working out kinks, but very pleasant room and good breakfast. My most serious complaint is with the garage fans running full blast, making noise for nearby residences and hotel properties.”
