Welcome to Green Whale! Tucked away in the quiet Mt. Pleasant residential neighborhood of Chelsea Park, Green Whale is an excellent, kid-friendly home-away-from-home from which you can explore the Charleston area. You and your guests will feel right at home in this comfortable three bedroom home with a private, fenced backyard patio. Your kids will love our bunk bedroom with kids' books, games & toys.

Guests enter Green Whale by walking up the sidewalk, past the gorgeous magnolia tree in the front yard and into the front door. Once you enter the front door, you will find an open floor play layout between the living room & dining room areas. The dining room leads into the kitchen. From the living room, you can access the master bedroom, the stairwell to the home's second floor and a half bathroom with full sized washing machine & dryer. There's a door in the living room that takes you to the home's private, backyard patio area with an outdoor dining table & chairs. On the second floor of the home, you'll find the remaining two bedrooms and one full bathroom.



Green Whale is a family-friendly home tucked away in a very quiet residential neighborhood. Please be mindful of this residential character of the home during your stay.

Guests who opt for the nonrefundable limited damage waiver remain responsible for any damages not covered by nonrefundable limited damage waiver. Guests who opt for refundable security deposit agree to pay for all damages to Unit or Unit’s property (except normal wear and tear) that occurs during Guest’s stay. Rental agreement must be signed and returned or you will not be allowed to access the rental property. If you do not agree to the terms of the agreement, you have 24 hours upon receipt of the agreement to cancel your reservation. If the agreement is not received, the guest should contact the property management company at the number on the booking confirmation.



Bookings are refundable up to 30 days prior to check in less a $200 Admin Fee. No refunds within 60 days. No refunds for travel, weather or other delays. Please purchase travel insurance.



All reservations subject to CLEAR ID security checks, completion of guest and car registration information and confirmation of understanding of all noise, parking and trash ordinances.



Please keep A/C temperature above 70F for optimal comfort. It is recommended to set it at 72F. Remember to keep doors and windows closed to maintain a cool home and keep bugs out. Fridges may take 24 hrs to cool when loaded after cleaning.

Our family of 6 stayed at this property. Great place for 4 kids and 2 adults. Property was a bit dated but very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils/etc. The property even had some beach supplies like towels, chairs, wagon. Easy convenience to restaurants, Walmart, grocery stores. The only things I would add is some family games and puzzles and a few toys in the kids room. Perhaps a tv in the primary bedroom. One minor thing is that the primary bedroom has a skylight. Fairly bright in the mornings or if you want to take a nap. However, we would stay here again.

Constant emails warning about parking and 6 people limit were stressful. We had three adults and and four children stop by to visit with us. We only had two vehicles in the driveway, but I was so concerned that I had to call to get permission if there was going to be more than six people in the house at any point. Just a lot of stress to visit grandchildren in Mount Pleasant. Do not look forward to doing that again. I want to be able to enjoy our grandchildren when we are with them. Therefore, this home did not seem a comfortable fit for us.

Cute house in residential neighborhood, good location close to stores, restaurants, 15 mins to beach, 15 mins to downtown Charleston. We were comfortable during our stay.TV's in the bedrooms (at least master bedroom) would had been nice, only one TV in house, its in living room. That would be an easy fix:-)We enjoyed our stay.

Mt Pleasant Stay was great!

The house was located in a quiet neighborhood. The unit was clean and as described. We arrive late in the evening and the lights were on for us. Thank you for that!We were close to everything. A short drive to Charleston but there was plenty to offer in Mr. Pleasant.

Mount Pleasant Gem

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Mount Pleasant is the Green Whale... a somewhat nondescript home from the curb, but remarkably spacious and inviting inside. Located in the perfect area for those who wish not only to enjoy that which Downtown Charleston has to offer but also the pristine beaches of Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms as well.We've stayed at rental homes all over the country and Steven was as responsive and gracious a host as we've found anywhere. We would love to stay at the Green Whale again the next time we visit the Charleston area.

Great location

Overall it was a great place to stay, close to historic Charleston, activities in Mount Pleasant and Sullivan’s island.Our only complaint was that the bathroom sinks didn’t get hot water even though the showers and kitchen sink did. Not a huge issue but annoying .We would definitely stay here again info we come to Charleston..

Happy House Guest

Wonderful house and location!! Accommodations were perfect for our family and made our stay exceptional. This house was centrally located for all our needs. We got to experience different beaches, restaurants, and shopping. We stayed for a vacation and Baseball tournament. Again, this house was located closely to the ballfield and beach area, with so many available stops in between! Thank you for a wonderful stay, Happy Houseguest!

The Green Whale is a very nice home. It's decorated in a beach motif, ands is conveniently located near all attractions and stores in and around Charleston, SC. We definitely would stay there again.

Great stay

This was a nice location, quiet neighborhood and had what we needed. The only complaint I have is the skylight directly above the master bed without any kind of blind or cover. In the summer it gets bright early and on vacation we want to sleep in or take a nap in the afternoon.

Great Stay

We loved this house, plenty of space for the whole family, pretty house and patio, and easy to get around to what we needed from there. Nice friendly neighborhood with a playground for the kids. Would love to stay here again. Only thing I could imagine being different is that the main area could use a little more lighting in the evening, though it's nice and bright during the day with the skylights. We had a great stay!
