Historic Battery Getaway

This unique place boasts a style all to its own. Cone be a quest at the Historic Mevers Mansion, where we've been welcoming quest since 1896. The mansion originally served as the Battery House Inn until 1900. The stylish two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom unit retains all the original charm while incorporating modern touched and updates throughout. During your stay, you’ll find a spacious apartment in the heart of Charleston, offering breathtaking views of the harbor. The two-story apartment boasts high-end furnishings in the family room, a 6-person table in the dining room, and a newly renovated kitchen with a washer and dryer. Upon ascending the stairs, you’ll discover two full suites. Each suite features a queen bed and dresser for storage, and the master bathroom includes a walk-in shower and a jacuzzi tub. Bath linens and bed sheets are provided. You’ll have shared access to the main floor veranda, just steps away, where you can enjoy the sweeping views of the harbor. If you prefer to dine at home, all dishes and cookware are provided in the kitchen. During the holidays, the main part of the house is decorated extensively, and you’ll be invited to a house tour one night of your stay. This tour will allow you to experience what people all over Charleston come to see. Please note that the apartment has steps to enter, and both bedrooms are located on the second floor. Additionally, we do not allow parties or music on the veranda, and the maximum number of guests allowed on the property is four.
