The Space: This luxurious second-floor condo is the perfect Charleston retreat for up to four guests, offering comfort, style, and an unbeatable location on Rutledge Avenue in the sought-after Cannonborough–Elliotborough neighborhood. With easy parking and close proximity to downtown, exploring the city is effortless.

Enter through your private entrance and feel instantly welcomed by the warm, inviting atmosphere of Rutledge Avenue Inn B. The bright, open-concept kitchen and dining area is ideal for gathering, featuring a large dining table with seating for six, plus additional counter seating for three. The fully equipped kitchen includes all essential cookware, making it easy to enjoy meals at home.

Just off the kitchen, the cozy living room invites you to unwind with comfortable seating and a large Smart HDTV. Both bedrooms are located off the main hallway and thoughtfully designed for privacy and relaxation. Each features a plush king-size bed and a recently renovated ensuite bathroom. A convenient half bath in the common area adds extra ease for guests.

Step outside to the immaculate front porch, a charming spot to enjoy morning coffee or evening conversations in one of the outdoor lounge chairs. Please note, the fireplace is decorative and not functional.

Guests enjoy exclusive access to the entire second floor, which is well-lit and easily accessible. Off-street parking is available in the driveway/parking lot, making arrivals and departures simple and stress-free.

We enjoyed staying at Rutledge Avenue Inn during our trip to Charleston. The off street parking was convenient. Our host was an excellent communicator and got us a new coffee pot in less than hour when the one in the unit did not work. The property was charming and most sites were within walking distance. We would stay here again if we return to Charleston. Thank you!

The interior was befitting of Charleston yet modern. The two rooms and adjoining bathrooms were large. The beds were very comfortable and I looked forward to going to bed. LOL. Nice large TVs in living room and bedrooms. The best was the porch. So comfortable and overlooking an active sidewalk. Fun. There was a coffee shop about 1 block away ( very busy). They also had pastries. And a convenience store also right by the coffee shop. Sold beer and wine. You could walk to King Street. About 5 or 6 blocks (I think). We used Uber. The property gets a gold star. There were only two of us so it was perfect. But two couples would be great too. We did not cook because we wanted to experience some of the 400 restaurants. But the kitchen had ample dishes and utensils. Easy check out and check in. I'd would stay again.

Enjoyable Charleston Stay

Good location within walking distance to restaurants and bagel shop for coffee. Bedrooms and baths are roomy and very comfortable. It was nice to have the additional space with our two 14 year old grandkids rather than just staying in a hotel. Stay Duvet was extremely prompt in responding to any questions we had. The outdoor porch is very nice but a bit crowded with excess furniture and LOTS of artificial plants. We had a bit of trouble locking the front door each time we left but finally figured it out. One oddity is that there are two small floor refrigerators in the kitchen besides the main refrigerator which makes for a cluttered space. The apartment worked well for our short visit to Charleston.

Great house! Wonderful location!

This home was perfect for a 2 couple getaway. Plenty of seating in the den. Private bathrooms for both bedrooms. Kitchen was well stocked, although we did not cook. Comfortably decorated home. Would definitely recommend and stay again the area. Not related to the house, we did book the pool passes at The Wanderer Club. It was a much younger crowd than us (50 year olds!). It was a club vibe and not our scene. Very crowded on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and no televisions for the husbands to watch golf. It was not for us but the staff there was very nice and street parking was very easy.

Vacation with our college student

The Rutledge Inn was the perfect spot for us to relax with our college aged son. The apartment was spacious with two bedrooms each with its own bath. We enjoyed coffee on the large porch every morning. The location is convenient to many restaurants and downtown.

This lovely property is loaded with Southern charm! Location is excellent; many restaurants with a variety of price points and cuisines. Can walk downtown or enjoy the historic homes and college campus.

1. Rooms richly decorated but with all modern amenities. 2. Excellent mattresses. 3. Worth staying just for master bedroom shower. 4. Great porch. 5. Our stay was amazing. The accommodations were perfect in a great location. Very comfortable beds and the kitchen and essentials were wonderful. The thing that really stood out was the response from the property manager, Duvet. They were so responsive - almost immediately. We thoroughly enjoyed Charleston. Wish we would have stayed longer now!

Charleston Comfort

We stayed here for 2 weeks. My wife had a surgery at MUSC. The place had everything we needed and was close to shopping and restaurants. The hosts were friendly and attentive. Access to a shared workspace allowed for a quiet remote location.

The property was ample and nicely decorated. Had good starter kits such as coffee and sugar. Also shampoo and conditioner. A few additional hand towels would have been good. The kitchen could have been cleaner (countertop, etc.)

Fabulous time

The property was first-rate. It's a really beautiful and spacious apartment with more than enough room for 2 couples traveling together. We happened to be there when it was VERY hot & humid out, so it was a short drive (rather than a walk) to downtown, but having a reserved parking spot made that a non-issue. We would definitely stay again.
