I’m surprised this place hasn’t been condemned. First, I reserved a 2-queen room, and when I checked in, they put me in a single king room for me and my teenage child, saying they didn’t have a 2-queen room available. This was just the start, but I’m not sure where to go from here.
- could not get the bathroom door open without banging it off the toilet.
- The refrigerator door wouldn’t close, and when I opened it to look inside, there was a dead cockroach on the bottom of it.
- it was almost midnight when the smoke alarm in the neighboring room started blaring and would not stop until a maintenance staffer disabled it almost an hour later.
- there was a long marble-topped table at one side that was sticking partway out into the room. When I tried to position it closer to the wall, the entire half of the table disengaged and collapsed on itself, and it was very heavy.
- 2 remotes for the TV. Only one turned the TV on, and neither one worked beyond that. Then after midnight when the TV started turning on by itself every 15 minutes or so, the only way to make it stop was to remove the plug from the wall. It was plugged in behind that heavy-assed table, too, so that was another unexpected annoyance.
There is more, but this is already way too much to have to endure. Shame on this disgusting mess, and shame on Expedia for not doing their due diligence on behalf of my non-refundable business.
