This hotel was under major renovation. There was a strong construction smell, even in the room. I was not sure if a ventilation fan was working in the bathroom. The breakfast area was a temporary space, previously a conference room. The tables and chairs were somethings you would see in a one star ...

Courtyard by Marriott Charlottesville
We were very happy with our one night stay- they are actively working on improvements to rooms close to ours, our room did not need any repair but the black out curtains could not close so not sure why you have them???
