We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lodge. Excellent communication with the host. The sunrise in the morning with the sound of seagulls and pelicans was amazing. My granddaughter caught a 22 lb black drum right off the dock. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Lodge was fantastic as usual!

Pelican view lodge is our go to place when we come to Cocodrie fishing! Accommodations are always excellent! And the boat ramp next to the lodge is super convenient!

If you’re looking for a no-BS, fisherman’s paradise—this is it.Pelicans View Lodge checked every box for our crew. Two pull-in boat slips? Huge win. Private boat ramp? Even better. Plenty of parking so nobody’s playing musical trailers? Perfect.Best part though—fishing straight off the dock under the house. We were hauling in giant black drum like we actually knew what we were doing. Doesn’t get much better than cracking a cold one and catching fish 10 steps from the kitchen.Speaking of the house, it was dialed in. Super comfortable for all six of us, and the kitchen was fully stocked so we could actually cook instead of living off gas station snacks (well… mostly).Hosts were awesome too—quick to respond, easy to deal with, no headaches.Overall: great house, killer setup, and exactly the kind of place you want for a fishing trip with the boys. We’ll definitely be back.

The host communicated with us quickly when we had questions. The property was extremely clean and well maintained. We were there to fish so it was nice to leave the boats in the water overnight. Will likely be staying at this property again.

Guys Fishing Trip

We have now stayed at this property twice in the last year and have enjoyed it both times. The place has pretty much everything you need, good location, fishing right off the dock and boat docking. The owners are super friendly and very accommodating with any questions. Looking forward to the next trip!

Really nice camp-comfortable beds, great kitchen, deck and lower area on the bayou. Grill, boil, fish fry all at your fingertips. Stayed 2 nights and will be back if it's not booked! Owners clearly take good care of this property!

Really enjoyed our stay!! Camp was clean and very well kept!! Boat ramp and slips were handy and let us get on the water early! Best fish cleaning station of any camp I’ve stayed at! Can’t beat the deck overlooking the canal either!!

Great location and amenities

Our annual guys trip to the bayou has found the spot we have been looking for. Others were either too small or had the space but not enough amenities to accommodate our large group. This one has it all!
