“I was headed to Grand Isle for a birding trip and stayed overnight in Golden Meadow as the hotels on the Island were expensive and most wouldn't book a one night stay. Southern Breeze Lodge was perfect in every way, from the friendly ladies in the office to the clean room, comfortable beds, and convenience of having a gas station, GoBears Grocery and Noble Roman's Pizza all within walking distance of the lodge! I recommended it to all my fellow birders and will definitely stay there again.”

“When you check in make sure they have you accounted for your entire stay. My daughter had four nights stay with Expedia and Hampton only had her for three nights stay. Her card was charged for the four nights and had to convince the Hampton people she was right. They insisted she had to call Expedia about the matter. Not no but no way. They finally acknowledged that she was right. A customer should be given more acknowledgement up front and not have to completely keep explaining that they have...

“Breakfast in their restaurant is always great, cooked to order. I also recommend walking through their parking lot to Big Als Seafood. Eating their 10 years now & never had a bad item served. Best Seafood within 200 Miles. The Ladies behind the desk are angels. It isn't the newest Hotel. But is spotless & has 5* service for under $100 a night. Hope i get to return again since i retired from working in Louisiana ”
