Hotel a Chelsea

“Everything was clean and looked well maintained. The bathroom looked updated, the bed was comfortable. Only suggestion is to put a mirror in the main room outside of the bathroom.”

“We were in town for the Regatta, so the hotel was crowded. Everything was clean, staff was friendly, especially at the breakfast area. The breakfast was a nice bonus with a waffle machine, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, muffins, yogurt and cereals.”

“After check-in, doors were open to all work areas which looked very unkempt, bed mattress was worn out . . . we both had trouble sleeping and had back aches throughout the rest of our drive, breakfast was sparse and very un-appealing so we ate breakfast elsewhere, . . . Basically the hotel didn't match anything we had read on Expedia which is why we drove out of our way to stay in a place that fit our budget. . . . our mistake.”

“A decent place to stay for the price. Convenient to dining options. The room was clean and well lit. Water pressure was fine. The mattresses were a bit soft for my liking. There was no hair dryer in the room. 😟 When staff cleans a room there should be a checklist of essentials they sign to indicate the room is ready. Having ear plugs supplied at the bedside should’ve been an early indicator of a noisy air conditioner. The staff is trying hard, but renovations are needed.”

“This was one of the few rooms left in town for Madison Regatta 2026. Pretty standard for a pet friendly hotel, we were traveling without our dog, definitely in need of a massive remodel. Front desk had a left over Covid glass in place, so communication required asking for repeats at loud volumes coupled with several middle eastern accents it was frustrating to try and communicate. Enclosed pool was not vented nor air conditioned, it was stifling to even walk in the door. Lots of trash in...

“Charming place, clean, close to a lot of shops and food. Walked to the river multiple times. Good location. Will stay again.”

“I love hampton suites. Very roomy and well laid out. What I didn't like was the noise from the bathroom. Sounded like a water leak with a constant drip sound. I reported it and was told it was a fan making the noise. 2nd night we turned on the bathroom fan and shut the door. This worked pretty well. All in all nice stay minus the drip sound the first night. Very friendly pleasant hotel staff.”

“Air conditioning was terrible. Would not cool the room.Hallway was hot too. Carpet needs cleaned or replaced.”

“Unable to get 2 extra towels...we were told that there was a towel shortage. At a hotel?, thats just ridiculous!”

“Courteous staff and the room was outstanding. It was our second stay at the inn. Everything is first class. We highly recommend it.”
