“It was such a beautiful place to stay and they have done a great job redoing the building but keeping the same old feeling. We had some trouble finding parking, but I’m pretty sure there was an event going on.”

“Pool closed Mon & Tues, (supposed to be open Tues-Sun) no kayaking during the week, only on weekends. Cabin dirty. Manager does not respond to emails. Staff at front desk not helpful. 95 degrees out, all water activities should be open every day during the summer.”

“The room was clean. I emptied the dehumidifier in my room after 24 hrs, you could almost smell the mold. I wouldn't stay too long. We were there two nights. They need to fix that problem but the place was clean and staff were very nice.”

They offered us a trip bag when we checked out with goodies we would need on the road...i.e. water, snacks. Breakfast was really good with plenty to choose from with workers checking on the food and keeping it well stocked. There was plenty of food to choose from. The pool looked clean and inviting...

“Pros: The building is unique and has historic charm which we enjoyed. The location was perfect for the reason of our stay. Cons: The walls were paper thin. I could hear every single word of the neighbor next door. My husband had to knock on the door at a late hour for the neighbor to turn down the action movie that was being watched. I couldn't imagine if there was an event downstairs how loud it would have been. I could hear every person walking in the hallway. The floors, though rustic in...
