Well Cottage ha tutto il fascino di una vacanza tranquilla e rilassante che offre comfort moderni incluso il WiFi. Questo cottage indipendente in pietra di Cotswold è ben proporzionato con camere da letto di buone dimensioni ed è magnificamente posizionato lontano dagli affari di High Street a soli 50 metri dal fiume Windrush ea soli 2 minuti a piedi dal centro del paese. È stato restaurato con cura con i suoi soffitti con travi originali in tutto e un grande camino inglenook con una stufa a legna. Il Garden Cottage è circondato da un pozzo originale e offre molte varietà di fiori di Iris a maggio, lavanda, erbe e molti cespugli di rose. C'è un parcheggio privato per 1 auto con su un ampio vialetto di grande apertura e parcheggio per una seconda auto vicino alla proprietà. Il salone è splendidamente arredato con mobili unici scelti con cura e un sontuoso comodo divano in stile inglese. Tutte le opere d'arte sono state scelte per mostrare alcuni dei talenti locali del Cotswold. Il piano superiore è stato interamente rivestito di moquette e ha lenzuola di alta qualità. e asciugamani fatti in inglese. Well Cottage è un'azienda ben consolidata e le recensioni possono essere lette su Trip Advisor come testimonianza di questo delizioso cottage. Wonderful experience

Wonderful cottage, amazing location, perfect for up to 5 people. We meant to experience english country atmosphere from a basis in a town/village to get easier to shops/restaurants and Well Cottage was the right choice as well as Bourton. I'm 182 cm tall and the ceiling in the living room was not much a problem for me. Services in cottage perfect (wifi,heating, parking), gorgeous flowers outdoor in the small garden, silent street. Only thing missing an extractor in the kitchen (if you're going to cook) but You can open a bit the window and it's really not a problem. Finally We did not meet Bette and Dawn but they had been just perfect in kindness and communications. We had a wonderful experience and recommend Well Cottage.

A wonderful stai in the Cotswolds

We spent a relaxing 2 weeks in this gorgeous period cottage. Dawn and Bette were excellent hosts and have attended to every need. Comfortable bedding, quiet and very cosy surroundings. Although only a couple of minutes from the main street it is very private and quiet. We made an excellent choice, we would recommend it to anyone looking for a base in the Cotswolds.

10/10. What a fantastic place inside and out. Absolutely spotless, comfortable, you couldn't ask for better hosts. Friendly neighbours and a great ice-cream guy at the end of the street. Watch for many tourists taking photos, you are a historical cottage after all. Thanks for everything Bette and Dawn.

Lovely stay in the Cotswolds

Well Cottage was a wonderful experience start to finish. The host was excellent- wonderful communication- especially appreciated written instructions upon arrival and lovely cream tea!Very charming, cozy cottage. Well appointed and perfect location to explore the area, Having a parking spot was very valuable! Absolutely would stay again and highly recommend!

Cutest cottage in the Cotswolds!

Dawn does not miss a single detail in making this cottage more than special. To mention a few key items that made our stay perfect: the linens (!), very comfortable beds, high end equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture to relax on after long hikes in the beautiful countryside, sweet outdoor sitting area - and Dawn as our host! Home was built in 1600’s and thoughtfully preserved with all the modern touches that made our stay very comfortable. The cottage is less than 2 blocks from town and has its own parking space. Town gets busy but what a quiet oasis to come home to! Dawn, thank you for sharing this rare gem!

A charming cottage in the heart of the village.

This charming cottage, built in the 16th century, is nestled in the heart of the village. Within a stone’s throw, you’ll find a bakery, a pharmacy, and a supermarket. For a more extensive grocery selection, there’s a larger COOP just a 10-minute walk away. Additionally, there are several walking paths nearby, eliminating the need to drive. The friendly owner is always ready to assist with any questions you may have. Enjoy your stay!

A perfect cottage.

Well cottage is delightful and has the benefit of off-street parking - very important in Bourton. It is in a perfect location, being very close to the centre of the village but in a quiet road.The property was spotlessly clean, well-equipped and as such had everything I needed for a relaxing break.The owner is very hands on and nothing was too much trouble. I enjoyed the fruit, cheese and biscuits that were provided!I would definitely recommend this property.

Charming Cottage

Very cute place to stay. There were several issues that came with staying in an older place but we dealt with it since our stay was short. The location was absolutely perfect! The hosts were fantastic. One thing I would like to say is that the ceiling is very low so if you are tall, you will have to crouch while walking around. But since we spent most of our time out sightseeing, it wasn't a big deal. We loved how charming this place was. Also a big plus was having a parking space right in front of the property. There is a small grocery store withing short walking distance where we got some essentials like water and breakfast items. There are also some wonderful restaurants right around the corner. My family loved it and my husband still talks about this cottage to friends.

Great Stay

This was a great cottage to base yourself in the Cotswold’s. The two minute walk to the village was a great feature of this cottage as well as the parking spot. I enjoyed the fire and the beautiful surrounds. I would recommend a stay.

Well Cottage was the perfect place to spend our time in the Cotswolds. Bette has thought of everything to make this a home away from home. The cottage located is in a quiet neighborhood with just a short walk to the shops and restaurants in the village. The accommodation are the quintessential English cottage.

Thoughtfully appointed historical period home. Amazing fireplace which was all set for easy use. Home it situated within steps of an abundance of dining and shopping choices. Best of all there is a dedicated parking spot.

Loved our weeklong stay in this authentic Cotswold cottage.

Felt as though we had gone way back in time as far as atmosphere but with all the modern conveniences at hand now. Noticed we preferred to stay in many evenings rather than going out just to imagine living there as actual people had done so long ago. Loved the river flowing with the ducks just a block away. Parking on site a real bonus. Lovely hosts also. so, so long ago.

The cottage is cute, quaint and cozy! It is even more beautiful in real and photos don’t do it justice! The cottage has everything you need, beds are comfortable and the owner is wonderful too checking in per email seeing if everything is okay! We definitely recommend the Well cottage!

Enchanted cottage!

The most beautiful place that my husband and I have ever had the pleasure of staying. Two minute walk to town. So convenient. Comfy beds with luxurious linens and fluffy towels. Everything that you could possibly need in this quaint cottage. The pictures do not do it justice. And very responsive and sweet hosts. It was such a delight to find scones with clotted cream and chutney, with a darling handwritten card on the dining table. If you are lucky enough to find this available, don’t hesitate. Book it!

Beautiful little cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at Well Cottage. The quaint little house is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The location is ideal in the centre of the village, but at the same time completely quiet. Dawn, together with her mother, quickly takes care of all the guests' concerns and emergencies. Well Cottage: Slide Into a Cotswolds State of Mind

This is a fantastic property in a picturesque, story book town in the Cotswolds. A two minute walk from the town center, the cottage is framed by a stunning rose and lavender garden accentuated by a Jacobean well. The property has as much charm inside as it does out. The large stone fireplace immediately drew our eyes and marked a great conversation area with a comfortable couch and wing chairs. A large table in the back of the room served as "mission control" as we determined our daily activities. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. Loved the Keurig-style espresso/latte maker. The bedrooms upstairs were extremely comfortable with beautiful picturesque windows that not only let in the morning light, but also the sounds of Bourton on the Water — and its stillness at night. Natural light abounded with each window -- upstairs and down -- framing a scenic postcard image of the cabin's surroundings. Our host couldn’t have been more responsive. She returned email messages within five minutes during the planning phase, and when we had a little difficulty with the WiFi (read user error), she was in 10 minutes to help resolve the problem. Most important, she was kind and welcoming and offered a number of sightseeing and dining tips (on the dining front, don't miss Vinitzia, an Italian restaurant in town -- it was sensational). Well Cottage is a perfect place to explore all the Cotswolds have to offer. I am already planning my next, lengthier stay.

ideal cottage and location to village of Bourton on the Water, bus transportation, restaurants and places to visit (walking distance to maze, Bird Land, Model Village).
