Dreadful communication, I emailed a query 3 days prior to arrival & had no response. The night before arrival I got an email saying I hadn’t paid. I’d not received a request for payment. The payment link was still not sent and on the morning of arrival I got another email saying I’d not paid shortly followed by yet another demand. Eventually they sent the link & I got instructions for entry. I arrived and sent a message asking for a parking permit. No reply for 34 minutes by which time I’d parked in the NCP car park and paid for parking. A couple had been waiting in the rain on the doorstep all the time I was waiting for a reply re parking permits as they hadn’t received entry instructions. I let them in but they still couldn’t get into their room. My room was in the basement. It was clean. You could see through the window to the room next door so curtains had to be shut for privacy. The bed linen looked like it had been sitting in the bottom of the tumble dryer for days as it was so creased & the bottom sheet was ripped in the corner. There were 2 half finished toilet rolls in the bathroom, enough for 1 night but looked like ‘leftovers!’
The attention to detail was definitely lacking. In the morning it was like a herd of elephants above me as the kitchen staff stomped around directly above my room.
