“Overall, this hotel served its purpose as an affordable overnight stop for travelers just passing through. The customer service was friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout the stay. I also appreciated that the security deposit was processed using the card already on file instead of requiring a separate transaction. “Carpet stained, no pool as indicated and the complimentary breakfast consisted of cereal.”

“The property was scary. It might have been the clientele but my daughter and I slept with our pepper gel and stun gun out while putting the chair in front of the door. The Days Inn next door look better kept. I won’t be staying there again. Also the smoke detector what hanging off the wall. I don’t even know if it worked. There was almost an inch gap under the door into the room. Definitely don’t stay in that room since any critter could come in. I’m sure during the winter, it would be fun...

“The Hampton was very clean and the staff were very friendly. We always stay here when visiting Marshall University.”

“We had a very spacious and clean room with a very comfortable king sized bed. The hotel was very quiet and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, but didn't offer very many choices. I will be staying here again on my next trip to the area.”

“The room was very clean. Beds comfy. Pull out couch was comfortable. Breakfast was good. The pool was nice but kept running out of towels because there were so many people swimming. But the staff was very attentive and replaced towels when requested. I loved the cornhole game and large connect four game in the courtyard. I would definitely recommend this hotel. ”

“The night staff lady on the walker was not helpful or friendly she was more worried about getting outside to smoke cigarettes than help the guests very rude and unattentive but the rest of the staff made up for her horrible customer service”
