“No detail to my comfort was missed! The innkeeper had fresh baked goodies every afternoon and hot breakfast made from scratch. The historic property is beautiful and convenient to so many art galleries, sweet towns, trails and Tanglewood. Highly Recommended!!”

As we tried to follow the unhelpful directions to room 230 offered by an impatient clerk, we approached a crumbling cement stairwell where a huge pile of vomit was gathering flies. A foot away, a broken shopping cart filled with garbage, including a hauntingly broken infant carseat, blocked the passage. We stepped around these, following the non-consecutively numbered doors - each covered with layers of greasy dirt and trash underfoot. ...

Issues: - Room was damp and had strange odor. - The small college fridge also had a strange smell to it. - Found small bugs and centipedes on Bathroom floor. - Several noticeable mouse/rodent traps were on floor in bathroom and bedroom. - Pool was closed. “The motel is perfect for tourists travelling by car since parking is very easy. Free breakfast is available in the morning. Large rooms and nice staff people. The Motel is 5 minute driving from the town center of North Adam. There is a restaurant nearby, or you need the car to reach the town centre. ”

“Owner very welcoming at check in, polite and pleasant. Room was a bit small, but spotless. Nicely decorated, interesting desk. Bed comfortable. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room. A/C worked well , as did shower. Continental breakfast was pre-packaged pastries, but there was fresh fruit, cereal and a good selection of items to toast. A lovely little outdoor patio was accessible for breakfast. All in all a nice little motel.”

“The manager/owner was really the kindest person I’ve had the pleasure meeting. He went out of his way to make us feel at home. The breakfast spread from the fresh fruit, Panera Bread Products, to the almond Milk was down home style, and simply Nice! Please keep in mind, this isn’t the Taj Mahal, it’s a little town motel, with great trails, and nature all around you. It is certainly dated, but very clean, and the price is right.
