“We stayed at Friends Lake Inn hoping for a relaxing getaway, but this visit was very disappointing. Upon arrival, the hotel was completely empty — no staff at the front desk, no note or key left for us, and no response to calls or texts. After waiting, we had no choice but to find and check ourselves into an unoccupied room. Additionally, none of the usual amenities were available: the restaurant and bar were not operating. The next morning, a staff member admitted they had “forgotten” to leave...

This house fit the bill perfectly, with 2 BRs in each apt. If you need a place that's super clean with plenty of room, this is it. Although the property is VERY close to Rt 9, the fenced side yard was good for the kids and lounging around a campfire. Keep in mind that there is no immediate lake access, and a view of the lake is blocked by...
