Was away from my room for one night and came back to a half drank Gatorade bottle, half a pack of crackers, and half eaten string cheese in the fridge, when I had nothing in the fridge previously. All of my toilet paper was taken and my bed was messed up when I made it before I left. Cleaning service didn’t show up until four days into my stay but I was already leaving and when I walked into my room to get my stuff, I almost threw up from the smell of the stuff in the trash can. Never saw a single employee the whole time I was there even when I rang the bell multiple times.

Checked in and was quick. Nice guy. Cigarette burns on bed comforters… don’t know when the last time the towels where washed…. We got free plastic forks . Nice appliances. Bathroom could use a little work

This property was nothing like the pictures online. The towels & pillowcases were dull grey to dark grey. I returned them to the manager and he had trouble picking through the supposedly clean laundry to find replacements that were acceptable. The first 2 he offered had what looked like blood he insisted it was nail polish. There were no amenities. We could not get the tv to work on 1st night. Next day I asked him how to operate it and he told me then we could at least watch it. I asked for an accessible room as I’m older and can’t get in and out of a tub room had a tub. I requested a king single and he said he didn’t have one available gave us 2 full beds so we had to sleep separate. No restaurants in walking distance.

I would rather sleep in my car than Haven Inn, we took pictures of the filth and left praying we didn’t carry any kind of critters such as cockroaches etc. We took pictures of the filth unfortunately no upload on this site, pictures are worth more than words.

The first room we got had cockroaches on the walls. We were able to switch rooms, and the second room had a smell and the towels weren't cleaned.

The room was good for the price. Nice TV, had a microwave and good size fridge, but no phone to the front desk, WiFi and only ice maker didn't work. All fair compromise for the price, but didn't feel good about leaving anything in the room, as the door jam was basically missing and had to have a screw put in it so it would lock.

These people regularly said we didn’t pay through Expedia, yet we would show receipts, confirmations and even called Expedia to validate our payment. If this was a one time thing, I’d understand but it wasn’t. They say they have internet but they don’t. They must be lying and saying their home internet is for business when no one in the hotel got internet… not one person. I asked around.

The non smoking room smelled like people smoked in there, place was filthy, there was roaches there and towels were stained and most importantly they have bed bugs don’t recommend this place at all it’s disgusting.

When the original owner ran this place it was a great deal for your money, the new guy that is running this place does not allow cleaning staff to use good cleaning products like bleach, the towels in our room looked like someone cleaned the floor with them and place them back on the rack (badly stain) the pillow cases were so stained I asked for new ones. Over all the place is not been updated instead is been ran to the ground, I will never ever stay here is too bad as the place used to be decent.

This room reeked of bleach. Didn't have a fitted sheet. The door was covered in filth. Walls are thin. Service is not friendly. No smoke detector. Floor wasn't even. All things expected at a much lower price point. Don't stay here.

Best Budget Friendly & Comfortability
Always really satisfied when it comes to early check-in allowances and the stay being what's expected, as a typical stay would be to standard expectations. Doesn't have strict rules about guests visiting and allows some acceptable noise levels to be overlooked (such as music & laughter...) Won't keep your deposit and kick you out for minor accusations and flexible with late check-out, if requested and necessary.

There was no hot air coming from heater in 2 rooms, cockroaches that we’re huge, and hot water took over 10 mins to start to get warm. This place is a slum with a slum manager that refused to refund me with my 3 yr old. Worst place I have ever seen, manager knows he is scamming people.

Avoid at ALL costs. Not worth saving a few bucks
Quite possibly the dirtiest place I've ever stayed in. I booked two nights, but didn't even make to the second night before I packed up everything and left for a Holiday Inn instead which felt like a 5 star hotel after this. Giant mosquitoes flying around everywhere. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Filthy bedsheets with stains and hair everywhere. Bathroom towels dirty. Refrigerator not even working. Hell, even the TV was busted. Honestly, I can tolerate a lot except for the overall smell of the place. Like stepping into a NYC cab after the driver's done 3 double-shifts without showering.

The no-smoking room smelled like smoke, the walls were thin enough that I could hear regular conversation in the room next to me, and the wifi was down. It was literally the cheapest place in town though so it does have that going for it.

NEVER AGAIN..
First of all, we paid $450+ for 2 nights that is usually (after researching nornal price) is only $70 a night, and it was the only motel/hotel available at the time. We stripped the bed of comforter and blanket due to staians and cigarette burns everywhere, and the towels couldn't dry you off due to being so old. Tv didn't work, so nothing to watch, also no wifi, double whammy.. Now as for the other "guest", all tweekers, guess they live there, drug deals all night, people playing loud music in cars while digging through their trunks separating trash, papers, and clothes. And saw a lady and ghy walking on sidewalk, and lady was yelling at her boyfriend to go check and see if any window were open, (whether it be room or car windows idk), so her walked by cars, and along all the rooms. The safest i felt was when tbe sheriff's car followed me in and ran my lic plate, then waved at me as they lulled out of parking lot. We'll never stay there again, and hopefully you won't either..

Functional yet dirty room. Maintenance not a priority. Motel advertised Free Wi-Fi but the was No Wi-Fi. There wasn’t even a network that was “down”: there was no network at all. Clerk stayed behind a closed window, giving the feeling of cheap, shady accommodations. No lobby, no office, yet the place wasn’t located in a “bad” neighborhood. Strange. The one other staff member I spoke with, a chambermaid, was pleasant and friendly. If you need an internet connection, stay someplace else. They don’t tell you there is none until you have checked in and paid.

The hotel room was non smoking, smelled of smoke and had cigarette burns in blankets. Smoke detectors where deactivated and set off to the side on a shelf. Two of the lights where broken and fell apart at touch, and there was mold in the bathroom by some rotted wood. Booking rheough Hotels.com is a double edge sword, this place was a wreck and i checked back out immediately, but its my fault apparently and no refund was given by Hotels.com nor the hotel.
Smoke alarms deactivated and put away.
Where the smoke detector used to be.
Wall is beginning to rot, soft and squishy to touch from water damage

There was mold on the wall next to the bath tub. That was a bit concerning. I closed the door of the bathroom to avoid inhaling mold. I did not shower either out of fear. Other than that, staff was sweet, slept fine. Neighborhood was quiet. I needed a place to sleep for the night. The room served its purpose.

You may be thinking that this place is at the low end of the market, but it's probably okay. Well, you're wrong! This place is not okay. It's poorly maintained and dirty. My room did not have toilet paper or clean towels and the WiFi didn't work. There were cigarette burns in the blankets and stains on the mattresses. The furniture was literally falling apart and sharp staples and screws stuck out of various pieces of particle board. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and go somewhere else, even if it's in Oroville or another town rather than Chico. And whatever you do, don't give these people your money until you've inspected the rooms. They will not return your money even if the rooms are unsanitary and unfit for human habitation.

because this hotel is the cheapest one there is no upkeep going on. The sink faucet was broken(literally two pieces). Bedspread had multiple holes from burns. The microwave had someones coffee left in it. I will bag my clothes for two weeks in case of bed bugs or roaches. I did not see any roaches or bedbugs. The staff was very nice. They were there and helpful.

There was blood splatter on the roof and wall. The counter was broken and the shower curtain smelled foul and left an awful stench on your hands after touching it. The TV constantly was in demo mode so you could only see half the TV. There was hair all over the towels and blankets. I will never stay there again!!

A shabby older motel with few amenities. ie.no talble or chairs in the room, no hair dryer etc. Stains on the sheets. Too much money for the quality.
