Discover the perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty in our spacious retreat. Surrounded by a lush landscape with a private lake, this gated property offers both tranquility and adventure. Note that the gate is a fun feature but sometimes does not function well, but isn`t necessary for security of the home.

On the ground floor, Bedroom 1 provides a comfortable California King bed and an adjacent bathroom for privacy and convenience.

The upper level houses the rest of the sleeping quarters. Bedroom 2, the Master, features a California King bed, creating a peaceful and restful environment. Bedroom 3 is equipped with two twin beds, ideal for friends or family. Bedroom 4 offers another California King bed, ensuring a comfortable stay for all guests.

Bedroom 5 stands out with its own California King bed and a bonus room, which not only has an additional Queen bed but also doubles as a private office space, complete with a chair and work desk, perfect for those who need to stay connected.

From various points in the house, especially the upper bedrooms, you`ll enjoy stunning views of the private lake (may be browned depending on seasons), creating a serene backdrop to your stay. The pool and hot tub area offers an elevated panorama of the enchanting landscape.

This property, with its expansive natural land, private lake and walking trails, and comfortable accommodations, is ideal for those looking for a connection with nature without foregoing the comforts of a well-appointed home.

🛏️ Bedroom 5: Queen bed + adjoining Full bed room (separated by a door; must enter through Queen room)

🔥 Recommended Hot Tub Steps:
1️⃣ Reset breaker 4–6 hours before use
2️⃣ Set temperature to 104°F
Breaker is located on the house wall closest to the hot tub.

We are near Honey Run Covered Bridge and some great Hiking Trails. There is wildlife such as coyotes squirrels, bats, raccoons, opossums, skunks, snakes, deer, coyotes, and even an occasional mountain lion or bear (we have not seen sightings of these in years)

The Great thing about this home is although it gives a secluded nature feel, it is only 10 minutes from the heart of Chico City, restaurants grocery stores Meriam park etc.

- Lake color can change depending on seasons
- The pool and hot tub are both functional
- We provide fire extinguishers and first aid kits
- We provide you a local contact number if you have any questions or issues

📞📠 WE DO NOT ACCEPT BOOKINGS FROM LOCALS. We do not accept Google Voice or Service Phone Numbers and we are authorized to cancel the booking if confirmed.

🏠📢House Rules:

- ✍️🪪 We do not allow bookings made by guests under 25.
- ✍️👨‍👩‍👦ALL guests must sign a rental agreement and provide a copy of government ID prior to check-in.
- 💳💸For non-Airbnb bookings, a credit card hold is required as a deposit. This is automatically released after your stay, provided no damages occur.
- 🤔😁Early check-ins (before 4 PM) require host approval. A confirmed booking does not guarantee early access — please message us to check availability.
- 📞📠We’ll call to verify your reservation before check-in. We do not accept Google Voice or service phone numbers, and reserve the right to cancel if this is the case.
- Trash day is Friday. Bins are rolled out to the street by Thursday for pick up the next day.
- Certain areas of the house have poor cell service. Connect to our wi-fi to make calls smooth.
- We take great care in maintaining our grounds, and we`re proud to have a dedicated gardener. Currently, he doesn`t follow a fixed schedule but tends to the garden whenever he believes it`s time for some care. Thank you for understanding and appreciating our green spaces!
- 🚭🌳No smoking inside. Outdoors, please stay at least 10 feet from the home and fully dispose of cigarette butts — our tree-filled neighborhood is fire-sensitive. Smoking inside results in a remediation fee.
- 😃🍵With our cleaning fee, we offer a no-stress check-out. As long as the home isn’t left in poor condition, you can enjoy a warm cup of coffee before heading out! Any mess or trash disposed of not in cans results in a fine of $100.
