“I had great expectations for this stay since I’ve been to Wengen several times and I looked forward to stay at this hotel, that I value as the best there. It was a short stay to ski, so I arrived and I departed late. The reception closes at 16.00 so I found my room key waiting for me with a nice note and that’s it. After 16.00 there’s also no service to and from the station: a minor issue. I felt really unwelcome without a human contact with the reception: I can understand that at a “cheap”...

“We absolutely loved Edelweiss!!! The staff was so kind and accommodating. The view from our room was so beautiful and peaceful. There is a great little park for the kiddos which is so convenient if you have younger ones. This place also has a nice deck to relax and enjoy the quietness of this village. “A stunning view of the Eiger from our balcony. A beautiful, spacious room with a large bathroom which included a bath and a bath pack. A delicious breakfast buffet is included. It is a little bit out of Grindelwald, which we liked as it was so peaceful. They will pick you up and drop you off at the station on arrival snd departure. You can walk to the hotel (15 mins from the station) but it is quite steep. Alternatively, you can take a bus which is free to all visitors staying at Grindelwald....

“We had spent an amazing and memorable time at Alpenruhe. The staff members were so kind, friendly, helpful & made us feel welcomed. They went out of their way to pick us up and drop us off at Wengen train station! The location is on point. Waking up everyday to the snow capped alps peaking through our balcony, what else could we have asked for our honeymoon 😊 Breakfast was really good too.
