The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. “Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. The en-suite double room was clean and comfortablebut you are better off relaxing in the bars downstairs, where there was two dining lounges...
