“I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....

“Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays.”

“The hotel is very typical, just what you would expect in this area. It is a cosy environment with a marine touch that adds to the whole, the staff is friendly and welcoming. you can count on them at any time and they are available to give you any advice you might need to explore around and relax. Unfortunately I couldn't try the restaurant, but breakfast was great and perfectly prepared. If you like modern, soulless and standardized locations, food, ambience this is not the place for you, but...
