“We had a wonderful stay at The Dolfor Inn. The room was just beautiful, packed with original features and the bed was super comfortable. We had an evening meal and breakfast the following morning which were both absolutely delicious. Our hosts were fantastic company and obviously love what they do with the attention to detail and service. We had a lovely drink with them Friday night, lots of laughs and great company. We will definitely be back A++++”

“Excellent stay, Tim and Helen made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. The room was well presented with lots of hospitality extras and the bed and pillows were super comfy. Although the breakfast is only a continental (which suited us perfectly) there was a fantastic choice with the addition of lovely homemade bread/toast. Not sure when, but we will definitely be going back there when we're in the area.”

“The location of the property to what we wanted to do was excellent. Room was brilliant excellent hosts breakfast was hot and well presented. The owners couldn’t do enough for you. They took our cases to the room And brought them to our car. Would 100 per cent recommend this establishment.”

“Quite possibly one of the nicest Guesthouses I have ever stayed in. the owners are qualified chefs and you can tell - breakfast s are amazing , in terms of choice , portions and quality Lynda has like a very interesting life and most happy to share a lot of her adventures I could I listen to her for ages! Exceptional location right by the train station. Most comfortable pillows ever. Really felt like one of the family would definitely return again thank you both for having us. X”

Unfortunately the hotel seems to be in a time warp and not in touch with modern day competition with regards to room quality tv, bed, furnishings. The dining options were extremely close windowed and not flexible. Breakfast was really poor quality with limited choice with many expected food items not bailable or offered. It seemed to be more in line with a seaside bed and breakfast offering rather than what appeared to be a 4 star...

“Tom the owner was very kind and friendly. He offered us toast, croissants and cereal for small donation in the air ambulance box. The house is really cosy and quirky, with twinkly lights that give it a lovely ambiance. The room itself was spacious, clean and cosy, with a very comfortable bed. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be stay again”

“Stanza piccola, ma abbastanza confortevole e colorata. Mancavano però scrivania e bollitore, ma non c'era nemmeno spazio per metterli! Bagno molto piccolo, con lavandino minuscolo ed assenza sia di ripiani sia di portasciugamani. Tutto molto pulito. Wi-fi funzionante solo sotto, al bar dell'hotel! “It was a lovely place to stay as we were up for a family wedding nearby there were 6 of us so we all fitted there comfortably. Our host was very nice and welcoming and there were a few treats for us to use as well which were very welcome.Would definitely stay here again for longer next time for a holiday,pretty central for visits to locations to view.Very happy with the facilities and location very quiet even though it is a working farm.”

“The host was extremely friendly and flexible when we spoke on the phone to arrange key collection, and the house itself was great. The rooms were large and airy, the surroundings and views were amazing and the hot tub was a perfect addition to the garden. Perfect venue for friends or a family to get together and chill out. Took a couple of wrong turns on the way in though! Some bigger signs would be helpful. ”
