“This house was perfect for us -- two couples and one pup -- for an off-season getaway. The location is quintessential "Up-Island" with sweeping views of Menemsha Pond, easy access to walks and hikes, nature galore, and several modest 1950's midcentury homes in the area. “Great little house out in the woods. Perfectly located in my opinion, as i favor the south west side of the island over the towns. The roads in and out are all dirt, so bring a car capable of driving them. Otherwise this place was perfect!”

“The owner agreed to let me have a few guests onsite but then became belligerent, rude, and nasty when his neighbors alleged I had an event 3 days after said date. I was told i was not welcomed in Chilmark and thrown off the property. VRBO sided with the property owner. Seems to be the practice when vacationing while black.”
