“We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. Continental breakfast was served promptly at 8 am and the addition of fresh strawberries and blueberries was a definite plus! Check in / check out was swift and efficient. “we were put in a top floor room in the school masters house which unfortunately was closest to the main room which could noisy at times. Breakfast was good altho there seem better options on Saturday than Friday eg Fresh fruit/fruit salad. Staff in the Breakfast Room were attentive and worked were hard ”

“It was easy to self check in and the room had everything needed for a great stay including the breakfast box. We took the dog with us and the room was ideal with plenty of room for us. We didn't see any staff as all the information was sent via phone. The staff member I spoke to on the phone to add the dog was very helpful and efficient. Lovely place to stay.”

“As basic as they get. Just enough to meet your needs for 1 or 2 nights. The price felt fair for what you got…a bed, shower and tv. Having said that, the mattress needs replacing and the shower had no soap in it.”
