Guests will have exclusive access to the entire property during your stay. It will be fully cleaned and prepared for your arrival and you will find everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

New Brighton is a coastal suburb located in the eastern part of Christchurch, New Zealand. It is known for its beautiful beach, pier, and extensive selection of shops, cafes, and restaurants.

The neighborhood is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike, with plenty of activities and attractions to keep everyone entertained. From surfing and swimming to shopping and dining, there's something for everyone in New Brighton. Additionally, the suburb has undergone significant redevelopment since the Christchurch earthquakes, and it now boasts a modern and vibrant community.

Few steps to reach bus stops and 5 minutes walk from the New Brighton Beach.

The property does not include any allocated carparks, there is street parking only.

City Noise - Please note this is a city living Townhouse. Its near the road and some intersections and has usual city noises. Pedestrians walking past, cars driving and the occasional siren. The Townhouse is much quieter with the windows closed. If you are a light sleeper, ear plugs are recommended.

Please note we can facilitate early check-ins/late check outs. there is an extra cost of $10 per hour with maximum of 2 hours. extra cost is to cover express cleaning. Subject to availability.
We have strict rules in place to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests and neighbours. Please refrain from making loud noise outside between the hours of 10pm and 7am. If you are unable to comply with this rule, we kindly ask that you do not book with us.
Additionally parties or gatherings are not allowed, any unauthorised gatherings will result in immediate cancellation with no refund.
Check out time is 10am and late checkouts must be requested 24hours in advance.
Smoking in prohibited inside the property and any damages or extra cleaning caused by smoking or pets will result in a $200 fee. We expect the house to be left in a reasonable condition and any additional cleaning required will be charged at $60 per hour.
Any damages, spills or stains must be reported and may result in a charge for replacement or cleaning.

so good!

We had a fabulous stay at Serenity by the Sea! Its just a walk across the road to the beach, hot pools, playground, library and the Brighton Pier. Also some eateries and Countdown supermarket. We didn't realise this property is two storied and as my hubby has difficulty walking a distance it was a surprise but we managed the stairs together. Also there are two steps into the property. Maybe add that to the description of the property? Would recommend happily as a quiet and peaceful place to stay!
