Un bellissimo vecchio casolare ferroviario, situato in un bosco appartato, ma con
   facile accesso a Christchurch e Bournemouth. Fern Cottage è un unico
   proprietà situata nel cuore della riserva naturale di St Catherine's Hill, a
   splendida area di brughiera e foresta, offrendo opportunità per
   passeggiate, ciclismo e osservazione della natura.

Christchurch ha tutto: splendide spiagge dorate, una bellezza
   porto naturale, storico Priorato, castello di Highcliffe e molto, molto
   Di Più. È anche la porta sud-occidentale del New Forest National
   Parco. Che si tratti di passeggiare lungo il sentiero costiero di Christchurch
   Highcliffe e Mudeford Quay, esplorando la bellezza selvaggia e magnifica
   viste a Hengistbury Head o trascorrere una giornata con i bambini a Adventure
   Paese delle meraviglie, c'è davvero qualcosa per tutti qui!

Fern Cottage è un delizioso vecchio cottage ferroviario, che risale al 1925,
   è pieno di caratteristiche di carattere e periodo. Il soggiorno ha un
   bellissimo bruciatore di tronchi, che riscalda anche l'atrio adiacente, e
   posti a sedere ampi e confortevoli. Un televisore e un patio a parete da 42 pollici
   porte che conducono al giardino. Una grande cucina di campagna tra cui a
   tavolo rotondo con sei posti a sedere e porta di accesso esterna separata. Piano inferiore
   bagno (doccia, vasca e lavandino).

Scale per tre camere da letto tutte con vista incantevole sull'adiacente
   campi e tutti con televisori a schermo piatto montati a parete. Maestro
   camera da letto (matrimoniale king size) ha accesso ad un balcone con posti a sedere
   due e splendide viste sulla campagna. Altre due camere matrimoniali. Famiglia
   bagno con vasca roll-top, cabina doccia, lavandino e
   gabinetto.

All'esterno c'è un grazioso cortile con set da bistrot. Il giardino è
   recintato e quindi dog friendly.

Parcheggio - Ampio parcheggio per due / tre veicoli di fronte al
   casetta (fuori strada).

Servizi: piumini e biancheria forniti (compresi teli da bagno e da spiaggia).
Riscaldamento centralizzato. Asciugacapelli.

Tecnologia - WIFI. Televisori - 42 pollici in soggiorno, 40 pollici in
   cucina, 32 pollici in camera matrimoniale e 24 pollici in ciascuna delle camere da letto 2
   e 3. Freeview TV. DVD in soggiorno.

Cucina: lavastoviglie, doppio forno elettrico, piano cottura a 5 fuochi,
   Estrattore, frigorifero / congelatore a tutta altezza, microonde e lavaggio
   Macchina.

Restrizioni - Non fumare. Sono ammessi due cani.

Servizi aggiuntivi: una culla e seggiolone sono disponibili su richiesta.

Nota: il casolare si trova in una zona rurale e sul retro del giardino
   su una riserva naturale e paddock con cavalli e talvolta mucche!

The cottage was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Getting around the area was good with many things to see and do traffic permitting at peak times. A welcome pack was available on arrival and this was most welcome

Lovely house in quiet location but within easy reach of Christchurch, Bournemouth and the New Forest. Walks from the doorstep including 2 mile flat walk to a good pub. We had everything we needed plus thoughtful extras such as chocolates and mulled wine. House was decorated for Christmas which was a lovely surprise. Also dog friendly and good size enclosed garden. With 3 couples in our party it’s always hard to find somewhere with 3 double bedrooms so this house was perfect for us with plenty of space for 6 adults.

Everything about Fern Cottage was perfect for us and made for a great holiday. There was plenty of space inside for the six plus a labrador. It was very welcoming and well equipped with many nice, thoughtful touches. We spent a great deal of time in the fully enclosed back garden, taking advantage of the decent weather to have breakfasts and evening meals at the outside table. The owners are essentially your neighbours whilst staying there and are extremely friendly and helpful if called upon but otherwise very much leave you to get on with your stay. Of the many good points about this property, perhaps the best is its location next to St Catherine's Hill nature reserve which is right on the doorstep of Fern Cottage. The hillside is multicoloured with heather and gorse and it made for ideal dog-walking. The other major advantage is proximity to Christchurch and its beaches. This year the area must have been even busier and more crowded than usual but the seclusion of the cottage meant that it always provided a calm retreat to return to but also, being so close to popular attractions, allowed us to visit at quieter times in the mornings and late afternoon. All in all, I don't think we could have wished for better accommodation for our holiday.

It had an old worldly charm, bedrooms very comfortable, TVs in every room. Road leading to cottage had a few pot holes so had to be careful. Garden lovely some of the furniture was a little old but fine.

This is a very easy to live in cottage. Everything is provided and in excellent working order. We loved the setting and even though we had a day of horrendous rain, our enjoyment was not dampened. Super walks on the doorstep and dog friendly beaches only a short drive away meant our little border collie was very happy too. Owners are very helpful and responsive to any queries.

We loved this property, had an amazing stay. The owners were great. Loved the location so convenient for going out around Dorset and Hampshire. The dog loved playing in the garden. We'll be back!

The house was a lovely cottage, overlooking a paddock with horses in it. We made the most of the wood burner abs found the house has everything you needed, and more, if you want to cook your own meals. Liz, the owner was really friendly and we took her dogs out for walks on most days. She also let our son help muck out the horse and feed them, which he loved. Very close to St Catherine’s Hill and we went for walks there on most days. This is a fantastic property, with great views and a really friendly owner. Definitely a 5* property!!

The cottage was so beautifully presented with everything you need and such attention to detail. The location was perfect, walking straight out onto heathland, great for dog walking. The property management company and the owners were so helpful and communication excellent. Would absolutely recommend this cottage for a relaxing break away and very dog friendly, great enclosed garden for the doggies.

We are a family of 4 and our original travel plans were cancelled due to Covid-19. We were lucky enough to find this beautiful property and spent a lovely week there. Nigel and Liz were both incredibly friendly and helpful - I can't think of anything more they could have provided! We brought our dog with us, and enjoyed spending our evenings on the patio in the enclosed garden. We hope to return soon!

Excellent, We had a relaxing stay at the cottage. Everything you could need with lots of homely touches. The location next to the nature reserve was superb with many interesting walks zig zagging through the woods and the reserve. My granddaughter particularly enjoyed having a horse in paddock next to garden. Close to Christchurch town centre and quay (25 mins walk).
