“I can't imagine there being a better place to stay in Ames!”

“Our stay for one night was fine, but it's a rather tired hotel. You can just tell by little things like dirty hallways with old carpet, a wobbly toilet, and old furniture,that it's been around awhile.”

“Quiet, clean and comfortable. Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed each one. The breakfast was served fresh every morning. Couldn't ask for much more to be honest.”

“The Ankeny Diner delayed breakfast opening until 9am because of Father's day brunch. There were no signs or notices, and according to another guest the front desk clerk didn't even know about it, nobody at the hotel was made aware of "no breakfast" ahead of time.”

“The staff was friendly and quick to answer questions. It was in a safe area with quick access to Ames and Iowa State campus. The room and shared spaces were clean. The room had blackout curtains that did their job well. The air-conditioning was easy to adjust in the room and was not noisy. Our room had a microwave and fridge that were very clean and functional. “Parking was easy. Room was clean. Tv/cable did not work. Unable to adjust temperature in room (was a little humid). Overall it was fone aside from those two little issues.”

“I would stay there again, I have to set the room was clean except I found some ants on the bed?? Maybe from left over food in the room from previous guests or possible pets that were in there??? Not a fan of pets allowed into hotel rooms.. other than that I will stay there again.”
