“The rooms overall were very clean except for the carpet which was nasty looking. The hallways outside of the room were not very appealing nor was the building itself. Mostly the staff made up for this.”

“The location is absolutely beautiful and incredibly picturesque. Our room was amazing, very spacious, spotless, and featuring a fantastic double shower which was a real highlight. The bar staff in particular were exceptional throughout our stay, friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which really added to the overall experience. “Loads of charm and nostalgia. Decent food. Some staff are friendly, some just do their job. This is a very old building with few upgrades. Our room was a bit musty, washroom was dingy and there are no fridges or AC is any of the rooms.”

Everything was laid on and Helen was superb in anticipating everthing I needed. And the breakfast - well - no words to describe how great it was.
