“The breakfast was decent, but on a whole the place is very tired and not all staff were the most helpful and rather abrupt. ”

“The whole unit was exactly as described and expected. Self contained with kettle, fridge and microwave(bonus!). Lovely quiet village area. Very comfortable bed and great ensuite bathroom with excellent and powerful shower cubicle. An optional help yourself breakfast facility is a new concept which we didnt use this time, but thought a great idea. We would definitely stay again as the price is very competitive. One small suggestion would be for a choice of some deeper pillows maybe?”

“Good points: Staff were professional and friendly. FREE Parking (you just have to register using the code provided) FREE Continental breakfast was an added bonus. Room was clean, which must be difficult as the rooms are quite old and in need of improvement. Bad Bits Woken up by power tools being used at 830am (Sunday) for the refurbishment work which is madness. Disappointing shower, although hot and leaking overflow dripping out constantly through the night. Rooms are dated and a bit run down...

“DO NOT STAY HERE. I had booked this property a week in advance and on the day i was told there was no room for me as they did not block out the bookings when they were fully booked. They claimed they had sent a message on the portal “hours in advance” However, prior to my arrival there was no message or attempt to contact myself to let me know that the property was already booked up. Thos is quite dangerous considering i am a young female travelling to a coty i do not know in the dark. I am yet...

“The hotel was old and uncomfortable. Didn’t find my booking and had to wait around for over 30 minutes for it to be confirmed despite showing evidence the room was booked. Won’t stay again. ”

“Communication regarding check-in was awful. Room was really cold when I got in. Couldn't lock door at first, had to mess about freeing rhe lock (should not be my job!!) No towels or soap available. No hot water on tap. No tea/coffee making facility, although there was a kettle so at least I could get some hot water, but no cups/mugs. Went down into what I'd believed was a communal lounge & kitchen to be told by a chap who was sleeping in the lounge that it is a private room (No lock on...
