“The overall stay was good and I could see where their making upgrades, but trying to run the lodge with one or two people doesn't work well. The location was great for attending the Whiskey Festival, it was close to everywhere we wanted to go and that was great! I'm glad that it was a guy trip, because my wife wouldn't have wanted to stay there. Make more upgrades and it would a place worth coming back to, thank you. Semper FI”

“This is a great place if you are hiding from the mob or the Feds or the irate father of your pregnant girlfriend. Amenities were basic: hot water, clean towels, reused shampoo containers, Internet which wasn't working. The office says "open" but to reach someone a visitor has to activate a Ring camera doorbell so that someone comes out to greet you & sign you in once you arrive. “The only negative was the 8am text message that woke me up asking how my stay was. I checked in at 11pm after driving halfway across Texas, so I had my alarm set for 10am for an 11am checkout, but I was woke up at 8am by their text message.”
