Guest house a Cirencester

“We had an excellent stay at The Portland. Gabriela could not have been more helpful in advance with clear instructions and sorting a parking permit for £5 for 24 hours. The safe parking was around the posh Clarence Square not too far away. There were other places in Zone 10 too. Gabriela allowed us early access to our wonderful room (No 6) because we had a memorial service to attend and wanted to sort things before we set forth. The simple breakfast was fine with orange juice, fruit,...

“Clean room and the new owners couldn’t do enough for us”

“We had a great stay in the property the location was perfect. Breakfast was fab and the staff were all very pleasant & welcoming”

“La foto della camera prenotata non coincideva con quella assegnata.”

“The room was very clean, and the check in process was a breeze. We loved the location, it was right in the middle of town and everything was very walkable. We booked this room because we were walking the Cotswold Way trail, and it was the perfect place to reset for our night in Broadway. Would definitely stay here again!”

“Friendly and welcoming staff, thoughtful touches and a lovely location with great walks and lots to explore”

“The Hotel was lovely, and very olde wordly. The Staff were very good in the main, but last nights pie crust was burnt, and there were no published prices for Breakfast, so to get our bill on checkout, and find that I was charged £16 for a sausage sandwich was a bit much, and there was no mention of a 10% service charge for Dinner at all.”

“Our room was lovely and comfortable. We were in the back of the building just off the garden (Brontë room) It was quiet and peaceful and a great place to relax after exploring the nearby towns and villages. Go early as the villages get crowded quickly and parking can be limited depending on the village. The only issue we had was breakfast was included with our stay but had difficulty finding it. It was located offsite a few minutes walk but I was only able to find this after googling other...

“We stayed in the coach house which was ideal for us with our dog. Dinner - fish and chips was good and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were really accommodating and made us welcome. Really good atmosphere in the bar which was well populated with locals.”
