“Car park a treck if you have items to carry. Digital key code would not work setting alarm off. Told to wait 45 mins for someone to come and re set until she remembered emergency key in cupboard in hallway. Flat lovely inside however bathroom lock was broken and no cold water coming through the shower scalding us. Reported but nonresponse. Fans on and off from building next door. When going out in the morning seeing the entrance in daylight was horrible. Bins and just not a safe looking place....

“The building was incredibly cool. Lots of character and very well maintained. Our room felt luxurious and was very clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the fan in the room. The continental breakfast was perfect, but the made to order hot food was fantastic as well! We only stayed for one night, but would have loved to stay longer.”

“This is a lovely and really old property with very interesting features. Unfortunately it is not now used to its full potential but was a comfortable place to stay for a night. We had everything we needed even though one or two places could do with updating. Meals, other than a buffet breakfast, are not provided, so it would be necessary to find somewhere else for an evening.”
