“The staff were fantastic, couldn’t do enough. The shower had a very poor pressure.
Sadly there was no air conditioning and it was very hot. A fan would have been good.

“I have literally done hundreds of reviews over 15 years with Expedia and this hotel is absolutely a top 3 contender. This is the BEST English country Hotel I have stayed at. The premises, staff and meals are superb. Do NOT bypass this hotel and I would even plan a trip to purposely include a visit. Loved every moment of our stay. ”

My hotel room was lovely and spacious, the bed was comfortable and I had great nights sleep. The farm is located in beautiful countryside with outstanding views.Margret and her family are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts are excellent and made with good quality local produce. The farm is literally two miles from the centre of Skipton. Hope to return soon!”

“The hotel is recovering post-Covid and in the face of a shortage of key staff, but is managing to workaround. Food and beers excellent, and it is clearly the social centre of the village with the same people dropping in, out and socialising day after day. Bedrooms good, comfortable and well-serviced.”

The room could do with a little TLC with a wonky toilet seat, shower door loose and the creeking floor boards that added character to the room.
