An amazing property tucked away, in what felt like in the middle of nowhere, though only 10 minutes to the centre of Clare. Cottage has been beautifully maintained and authentic to its period. Comfortable beds and all necessary appliances etc. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a very nice time thank you, including our Aussie Terrier, Ruby. Tanika was very welcoming & most helpful in attending to our queries & in topping up our breakfast goodies etc. It was lovely to be back in the Clare Valley/Burra region & we’ll definitely return as soon as possible. Nice and cozy cottage for two and furry one. A sweep of the rug in front of the TV to remove dog hair would not go astray. Will defiantly return in the future.

A lovely cottage for a relaxing stay away from the "hustle and bustle" of close to the township

A lovely cottage, ideal for 2 people only plus a pet.We toured the wineries and pubs every day for lunch and sat by the fire at night for a snack for dinner.No wifi available and only channel 2 on the free to air TV, however we were happy to read our books.A handrail in the shower and toilet would be handy for elderly people (both of us).The surroundings (gum tress and kangaroos) were lovelyRichard and Jan and our dog Moet

Beautiful Country Stay

Glen Morris was a lovey cottage, had all the facilities you wanted for your stay. The location was excellent. Only a few things I would say that put a dampener on our stay was when ever you used the shower the drain would put out a horrible smell that lingered for several hours, and the wood supply was not enough, we had to ask for more which was delivered but the call and the delivery was met with uncomfortableness. Also if you are with Telstra your phone doesn't have coverage.I think a stack of wood near the cottage would be of value, especially in the colder months.But overall the place was Nice, quiet and tranquil.

Disappointing

The beautiful drive through the tree line corrider of the driveway was the highlight. We were shocked on arrival. The 2 bedroom mud hut was deceptive from the advertised photo and lets not talk about the bathroom and the flies. The lounge rooom furniture was old and uncomfortable. Out of the 3 places weve stayed it has the lowest rating

Perfect

We were upgraded to Peppertree cottage and the location was perfect. The cottage has everything you need and is warm and cosy. Communication with the host easy. Close to Clare and our 2 pups loved it. Cannot recommend highly enough . Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Escape to the country

The 4 of us and the dogs were delighted with the setting, the cosy cottage, the breakfast, the comfortable beds. The gum forest made a great walk for all of us. Close to many eineries the Riesling trail. In a word PERFECT

Peaceful, dog friendly, good restaurants nearby

Great location for restful time with dog. Small cute traditional style cottage. Interesting story of building it. (Could do with a reno now). Beds comfortable. Has all basics (but bring own nonstick frying pan if you like to cook.) We had a lovely week there. We’ll book again.

Comfortable dog friendly cottage

My sister and I and her little dog stayed in Glen Morris cottage for four days. It was a rustic mud brick cottage in beautiful surrounds and and was very clean with comfortable beds. Great breakfast provisions and friendly welcome from owner. Five minutes drive away from Clare and all that the Valley offers.
