“Lovely spacious room in the cottage. Everything was catered for. Options for breakfast and dinner. We had a lovely sitting outside area which was handy on one of the hottest days. We parked in the long stay car park but then the lady on reception informed us that after 5pm the street was quieter and we managed to park our car nearby. ”

“Cashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way .
Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery.
So glad we had booked as they were turning people away !

“A lovely stay at the Royal Oak for one night. Very friendly and attentive staff. They were more than happy to arrange late access to the property due to us having to return to the room late at night. Breakfast was excellent, with options for full English or kippers, plus plenty of toast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt.
The car park is very small, and can't accommodate all vehicles, however there is ample parking on the road at the front of the property.
The room was comfortable with clean linens....

“This is a lovely country hotel, i stayed last weeknin a garden room.
This week I chose a room in the Hotel itself which was great unfortunately the staff went home and left music playing in the Restaurant down below and this kept me awake !
The Management compensated me in the morning for the inconvenience which was good of them.
