“Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended.”

“A truly wonderful stay over the festive period. The new spa is lovely and room 452 was SO quiet and spacious, highly recommended. The only downside which I pointed out two years ago is that the shower lets the room down as it’s not powerful enough and looks dated too. A short taxi ride or lovely walk into the centre with everything you could wish for. Please note valet parking is £39.50 and the Soa £45 per person in addition to the room. Great attention to detail - there was even a supply of cotton buds and a small sewing kit! Really conveniently located to get to York centre, and the bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in! Will 100% stay here again when visiting York.”

“Vicino al ponte sul fiume, potrete raggiungere il centro storico in un attimo e vedere cosi' il Duomo e le Shambles, ovvero l'antico mercato. York non mantiene gli aspetti medievali che promette ma potrete vedere la sua principale attrazione, cioe' il suo forte ricollegabile ai Vikinghi e alla storia degli York in genere. Tutto questo a due passi dall'albergo”
