Once inside, we found a spotless apartment with super comfortable beds. Showers were great, as was the washer/dryer for our clothes. Having a FREE parking space was really nice, too.

A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot. ”

We had roof top drinks prior to heading out in the evening. The roof top bar was relaxing with some great views. “Un albergo che,anche se distante dal centro di York,offre il meglio dell'albergatoria inglese:confort,silenzio,eleganza,calore.Il fatto di essere fuori città non crea disagio perchè un delizioso sentiero lungo il fiume porta in città a piedi in 40 minuti,oppure l'autobus n.11 ferma proprio davanti all'hotel,ed ovviamente i taxi che portano a destinazione in 10 minuti con una spesa più che onesta.E' un paradiso in mezzo ai prati che solo in inghilterra sono così verdi!”

“Soluzione molto interessante per la buona posizione rispetto al centro di York (5 mins con taxi) e la bellezza del contesto.
L'hotel ricavato presumo da una farm house di qualche secolo fa è accogliente e in ottime condizioni di conservazione, ben manutentato e efficiente. Il personale è estremamente cortese e disponibile. Bellissimo il parco e il giardino botanico / orto nella parte posteriore della struttura.
Camere, almeno quelle esterne in cortile, di dimensioni non esagerate ma...
