“Very nice stay, room clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, full English, used the restaurant for evening meal which was very enjoyable. Wasn’t keen on the very small smart TV in the room but owners were lovely and so was Hannah. A wonderful waitress ”

“The breakfast was lovely. There’s no air-conditioning so you’ll have to crack the window. There’s some stairs, so just be aware that you need to carry your luggage up some stairs. The staff are very helpful and friendly. ”

“The hotel advertises the fact that they have a 2 year plan for refurbishment etc and state that the rooms are professionally cleaned and then sealed. We didn't find any evidence of this, either from the cleaning point or the sealing of the room, and would point out that the "professional cleaners" may want to buy a new vacuum cleaner because the one they are using doesn't pick up very well from the carpet. On arrival at the room we noticed that there was just one solitary teabag, barely enough...

“We upgraded as we were looking forward to a arelaving treat for me and my partner. The upgrade was supposedly their best room which was full of cobwebs in the lounge area the bedroom and the bathroom and their dust everywhere and even worse inside the wardrobe it was thick with dust unableto put clothes in their . The furniture was falling apart and pieces missing off bits of furniture also. After I booked i was told breakfast last call was 10.30 am . We turned up at 9.45 to be told breakfast...

“On arrival there was plenty of parking, checking staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and breakfast was great. A lovely stay and I’m sure I will stay there again.”

“It’s a nice small inn for staying a couple of nights. The room must be recently renovated with a nice bathroom. The only surprise was that I booked with breakfast but the hotel only provided a simple breakfast ; coffee and toast. Otherwise you need to pay extra. I wish they stayed more information on their booking information regarding the breakfast options. To me it’s a little bit too cheap for them to operate their business in this way.”

“Great location, beautifully decorated room and good quality bedding, towels, toiletries etc. However .. our room (9) was TINY .. the gap on one side of the bed was approx 8 inches between the bed and the wall so very difficult to navigate safely particularly at night without stubbing your toe on the one side or bumping into to door handle on the other. “Helpful staff but evening meal disappointing”

“The room was beautiful and spotless however some of the furniture was a little worn but it added character. They had the tea and coffee box well stocked and not with just the standard tea and coffee but with the flavoured tea and decaf coffee plus they had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as if you had forgotten anything you could ask for a guest pack (toothpaste, toothbrush, razors etc). On our first day we had and issue with the iron leaking, light blinking and not warming up so...
