Hotel a Coahoma

“The staff was amazing at the hotel and working through a difficult building. The building is falling down. They do not have extra towels or pillows, the pool is broken. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff just fantastic. They are completely let down by ownership as ownership has allowed this hotel to begin falling apart. Pool hasn’t worked in years, elevator makes very concerning noises, food is scarce. Our shower has a broken door, tears in the carpet, furniture was very old and...

“We had a nice time. It is an older hotel but it met our need for a stopping point on our road trip.”

“Staff was ok didn’t take long to check in, the problem arose when I walked in to our room. At first it seemed clean enough. Later on I went to the bathroom and there was a cockroach on the counter . Gross but I didn’t make a big deal about it .around 5am i Went to the restroom, I turn the light on and there’s at least 5-6 cockroaches scattered around the bathroom! Honestly got my wife up and we left immediately. Truly disgusting”

“Could use some upkeep of the elevator which would close the door forcefully with little time to get onboard. Faucets in bathroom was loose, had to plug the air conditioner back in. Besides that, the staff was helpful and the breakfast was good.”

“We chose the hotel because it advertised as “pet friendly” The fee was $50 while other hotels rarely charge over $25. There was no ice on first floor, grounds were not kept up, elevator was filthy, staff refused to budge on pet fee, but our room itself was clean and cool.”

“They have made poor decisions on breakfast. Removed biscuits and gravy or eggs and bacon or sausage. McDonalds serves better. Removed second waffle machine. This causes backup with people waiting in line. There was no creamer only milk or half and half. They used to serve flavored creamer. They moved breakfast to 6:30 a.m and that causes a rush when people are heading out for their work. For example they had sausage or a crousant sandwich with ham.
