“We really enjoyed our stay in the Shepherds Hut and the views were amazing. The only disappointment was that there was no welcome pack providing instruction on how things worked. There was also no telephone contact details in case of any issues,etc. When we arrived there was not hot water and it was only by trial and error that we managed to find out that the gas bottle was empty, luckily the other bottle was full and I was aware how to manually change them over. “Property was tidy, simple and fairly straightforward in terms of settling in. Once we figured out the heating - no instructions - we got the place warm. An excellent wood burner really made the lounge - plus bringing in two bedside lights for ambient lighting - and was generously supplied with kindling and wood.
