“I couldn't imagine a nice place to stay on Skye. Everything about the house was wonderful, but my favorite part was the floor to ceiling windows and the view those windows afforded. Given the ever-changing Scottish weather, you can sit in the perfectly placed chairs by the window and be entertained without ever having to pick up a book or start a conversation. It was so completely relaxing!”

“Decent prefab house, nice to have two bathrooms including a bath and one an ensuite. Quite old decor/furniture, but did the job. Loved the games, especially the 80s game of life! Functional kitchen although dishwasher needed salt/rinse aid and didn't work on last day. It was clean but a few dog hairs when we swept floor and cobwebs/spiders. Kinlochbervie is a quiet place, there's no pub or anything to do, but house conveniently opposite spa shop. A good base to explore the surrounding area.”

“First and foremost: the hosts were so welcoming and friendly. There had been a very minor glitch at check-in (which was resolved immediately) but the hosts insisted on "making up for your trouble" by treating me to a traditional dinner at a nearby hotel. This was not necessary (I didn't feel they had anything to apologize for) but it was very appreciated. AND the cottage itself was very welcoming: everything was there--coffee, tea, cereals, milk for coffee amd cereals, lots of "biscuits"...
