“The property was great; plenty of parking, plenty of room to move about. The house was large but quaint and had everything we needed. Very quiet and remote but only minutes from town. I LOVED Paul's (owner/manager) attitude about closing out the house - "you are on vacation... you don't need to do anything except collect your things..." “Wonderful place to stay and would definitely return! Very walkable to riverfront and many excellent restaurants. Very clean! Host provided us a yummy welcoming snack basket. Our family of 6 had plenty of space to sleep and relax. Well stocked kitchen hardware, dishes, pans, etc. Thanks for a great stay!”

“The amenities in the property were very poor. The price I paid for one night stay was extort for the facilities on offer in the property. The heating only worked in the kitchen. The electric heaters in other rooms were present but could not be switched on. There was no hot water in the property. We tried following the advice in the property folder but were unable to turn on the hot water. The mattress in the main bedroom was very springy and uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall, very poor...

“House was reasonably clean and well appointed and comfortable. Poor communication from property as to how to check in, which house we were staying at etc.Thankfully the family staying on the other side helped us out. A bit of a far walk from city centre, but doable.”

“Dated requiring refurbishment also when we opened bedroom there was loads of birds droppings on the corner of the window cill because there was a house Martin or swallow had been nesting therefor had to close window and get no fresh air. We stayed one night and left prematurely. No breakfast It’s like being a latch key school child Wouldn’t recommend”
