Property was fine albeit a bit dated. Staff were pleasant and helpful, and the pool area was lovely. Our only complaint was there was no wifi as advertised. On raising this with the staff, we were told that not all units have modems and it depended on which one you were allocated. We found this very misleading.

The lack of a BBQ at the villa was disappointing. Was told by reception “oh yeah, we don’t do that anymore .. “ Would be good if the ads and listings reflected this as being a family staying for a week, it was a big reason we picked that room and resort in general. The pool whilst a really nice size and warm, could do with a good clean !

Good value but the resort is very tired and could do with an uplift. Eg. The pools are open until 10pm, but one of them doesn’t have lighting, so can’t be used. There is only one restaurant (Thai) on site and there are no shops/restaurants within easy walking distance. Our 2 bedroom apartment only had airconditioning in one room (1 bedroom) which meant the other bedroom was incredibly hot. Although we had 2 bathrooms, only one had decent pressure for showering. There was a private beach, but it’s not patrolled and quite rough, so we couldn’t use. Good points were that the apartment was very spacious and had a kitchen. In hindsight we should have bought supplies for cooking. There was a laundry and a nice lawned courtyard. We had undercover parking next to our apartment which made unpacking the car easy. Our kids thought the 3 pools were great. Although there were tennis courts, we had forgotten to pack balls and there’s no shop on site, so we couldn’t use it which was a shame. Probably a good place to go with a big group- just remember to take what you need in terms of food and drink!

We had a relaxing time at nautilus! Room was good for what we needed and the pools were a great hit with our young kids. My only disappointment would be the gym as it was old and not maintained well. The kitchen could have used some more basic items like dishwashing liquid for the duration of our stay or extra rubbish bags. Overall very happy and would stay again.

Very nice location with excellent pools and easy access to beach. Apartment could do with a good clean, bathroom exhausts and ceiling covered in dust, but generally the rest was of a good standard

I didn’t know where the pools were located, just given a key, didn’t know there was a restaurant until I read the sign out the front, had no idea where it was situated. The cutlery draws had crumbs in there, there were no tissues available and the room was dull. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone as it was disappointing.

The overall stay was pleasant, it was clean and easy to stay at with the kids. I was disappointed that there were no sheets for the fold out although they were aware we would be using them. There was one single doona (for a double fold out) that was filthy and no sheet to put on it. I had to guy buy bedding for my kids. There were no extra towels to use for the pool. Given there is no staff on-site over the weekend we had to make do. It’s these little things that would have made our stay perfect.

I am sorry you had these problems staying here. We don't supply pool or beach towels and never have a problem with that. As for the extra linen I will follow that up.

Thanks for your review. As the villas here at Nautilus are all privately owned the wifi is at the owners discretion. Some opted not to have NBN connected.

Property tired and run down, cracked toilet bowl, bathroom door tries to disintegrate when opened, bathroom exhaust fan not working, mouldy shower curtain, thick layer of dust on ceiling fan blades, torn bed sheets, metal door frames rusted. TV lost signal for most of our first evening. This property did not live up to its presentation on the web page. Very dissapointing!!!

Thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate your time in telling us where we can do better. We have passed this information onto the Villa's owner who is looking at the repairs. We have also contacted our cleaning team, who have assured us that they have had a restructure in cleaners and this is now reflected in new cleaning staff. :)

Loved it, very spacious two bedroom villa, super close to everything. Everything we needed in the villa and bath tub too! Great for kids of all ages, two pool options and beautiful seats around beach for evening drinks

Hi Cory, Thank you for coming in to explain why you did not like our facilities. It has been recommended by our insurance company to restrict the use of the outdoor spa to children over 12yrs old. We just want everyone to have a safe holiday :). Again we apologise for the shut down of the outdoor spa, as another guest used the emergency shut off. Once the emergency shut off is activated, the spa must be locked until it is safe again/ restarted. But we are glad you enjoyed the beautiful beachfront and wonderful weather, (which was still pretty cold for swimming in our pools).

Our villa (165) was filthy. Most surfaces, excluding the kitchen had built up dirt and grime, mouldy curtains on every window, dirty walls, filthy AC units. There was something living in the roof that made a lot of noise and scared our young children, additionally the roof was also leaking. There was no wifi and when we asked management they weren’t sure and followed up with the owner whom also couldn’t provided the details either. We took photos of everything and complained to management which resulted in nothing. I would not recommend staying here.

The staff were super helpful and friendly. Pool was clean and the tennis court was well maintained. There was some surface mould in the main bathroom and the shower taps in the family bathroom lacked indicators as to what was hot and what was cold.

It was was nice private place, close to Coffs. The hot spa was not working and it was poor weather so a spa would of been a benefit. No wi fi, very dated room decor, old rooms, just ok bed and awkward parking in 142. We enjoyed the area it was beautiful.

The room was ok. Thiscday and age not much in the way of technology. Stove top was dirty and the oven didn't work. Very disappointing as we were going to have pizza for dinner after a long day out. Do not go there if you have a large vehicle as the roads inside are very small and hard to navigate if vehicle is coming the other way. Parking was hard with a four wheel drive. Will not go there again.

Thank you for your feedback, our housekeeping team have been advised of the condition the stove top was presented, ovens often have a separate switch on the wall to activate the appliance. Extra parking is available close to the tennis courts, sorry for any inconvenience this caused you.

The location is gorgeous and we stayed right near the rainforest side. The pools are amazing and the beach is beautiful and having the beach right there to view and walk along is lovely. You can’t swim in the beach though as it is too tough and dangerous.

We loved the property. It had beautiful pools and you could see the ocean from one pool. We didn’t hear other families we crossed paths with in the resort, it was very quiet. My husband fished out the front on the beach every morning. The gardener Drew was so welcoming and helpful. All the staff were very friendly. We will definitely go back!
