Cottage a Coimbra

“The house is a beautifully redone schist structure in the center of Talasnal. All the comforts of home; nicely stocked kitchen, great fireplace (heated the whole house), comfortable beds, and nice hot showers. Great hikes just walking out the front door…although we did get lost the first day. Haha. Both Joao and Alda were super responsive and so helpful. Even offering to pick us up in Candal after our very long misplaced hike. Definitely purchase any supplies before arriving as the tiny Mercado...

“Antonio was very accommodating, he gave us a personal tour of the museum and chapel in the village. The community pool was very refreshing. A remote village, perfect for a rejuvenating vacation.”

“Un peu loin de la ville. La route est très sinueuse mais la vue est très belle lorsque nous sommes arrivés. La piscine est très pratique avec parasols. Les déjeuners sont complets et copieux avec une super bonne chocolatine à tomber à terre. Service excellent et accueillant. Il n'y a pas d'options de restaurants près de l'hébergement sinon à 10-15 minutes. Par contre, la cuisine est complète et très pratique.”

“The house is lovely. We particularly loved the outside kitchen, dining and lounge area and we used this a great deal. The pool was also great. The house is in a good location in a small hamlet but there are no facilities there so you do need to drive everywhere. It is about 20min drive to Coimbra which is a very pretty old city and definitely worth a visit. The Atlantic coast is about 45min drive where there are beautiful long sandy beaches. The only downside for us was the proximity to the A13...

“Siamo stati bene, l'appartamento è spazioso, luminoso, comodo; bella e grande la cucina, molto attrezzata; bello e spazioso il bagno, bella anche la camera da letto, abbastanza comodo; bene la culla e il seggiolone, perfetto per la nostra bimba di 20 mesi che ha corso su e giù per l'appartamento, le piaceva proprio. Zona abbastanza tranquilla e a due passi dal centro di Coimbra. Comodo il sistema di check in e ingresso tramite tastierino numerico, che permette di non dover portare in giro...
