“Not a five star hotel but met expectations so giving it 5 stars for what is advertised. Staff were nice, room was clean. Prime oceanfront location - This is why you stay here. Restaurant on site. Recommend staying in the newer building, but not on the first floor. While nice to walk out to the ocean, people will use the loungers in front of your patio door so you have no privacy. Wish list: bigger tv’s, extra comforters, sheer curtains (not just black out ones), more light in the bathroom. ”

Reconciling the cost of taxes on the Expedia application and the hotel/apartments would make BLR Villas Dover Beach a 10--location, cleanliness, and price. “The staff was wonderful. We arrived at 11:00 pm. Our flight came in late and we still were served with a rum punch (the bar was already closed). Our reception girl was awesome! We came with friends and the hotel managed to get our rooms together. The property is landscaped nicely. The onsite restaurant has great food . The bartender is helpful. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel.”

“The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating during our stay. Our room was cleaned each day, with a nightly turndown service, which was a nice touch. We loved that it is a small property - ran into many of the same couples during our stay, but also felt like we had privacy and down time. Would go back and highly recommend it for other looking for a quiet get away.”
