“Beautiful country Inn! Room was cozy and welcoming. The breakfast room is stunning! The breakfast was beautifully presented by a lovely, friendly lady named Kim. Perfect location to go out and explore charming Rothesay!”

“The maid service was outstanding as usual and the morning breskfast we enjoyed. Having fresh fruit and hot beverages for the guests yo enjoy is so very appreciated. The room was as always exactly what we needed. Just a small recommendation was that the mattress was a bit to soft for our liking. But, the hotel has reached out and all was taken care of and does not reflect on us returning on our next trip back to Saint John nb at the Hampton Inn. ”

“Parking is the main advantage of this hotel. Convenient location for Imperial Theatre and uptown. Hotel needs refurbishing, rooms are spartan and not well cleaned. Paid extra for a harbour view but windows look like they have never been cleaned. Curtains have holes and the single chair in the room had not been vacuumed. Paid extra for breakfast but vouchers were omitted at check-in.”

“No hot water for almost a full day. The garbage was not pick up. Needed to run for towels”

“Room is clean but outdated, not convenient to uptown Saint John if you don’t have a vehicle. Staff not knowledgeable enough to tell you what to do or where to park if you are going to see the historic area of SJ.”

“The staff was lovely but the room was very unclean. Stunk of cigarettes and there was burn holes in the bedding. Empty alcohol bottles and cans everywhere. We left immediately. The staff was lovely and looked defeated. My heart goes out to them but I couldn't stay there with my immune compromised husband and children ”

“Staff were helpful and friendly, room was a generous size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was on the dirty side and very dated (toilet barely flushed). The hotel offered no amenities but had a basic free breakfast. Lots of parking, however not in a walkable or convenient location. Room walls were thin but no road or outside noise present, but would be an issue with loud neighbours. Would recommend this hotel if you are budget conscious or need to stay for 1 night.
